tripc0de
Ignore Dundee Mad. Just people venting their feelings and upset about losing four on the trot. It's because we're a big club...
Big Gus
Comes onto p&b to catch up dfc news. Ends up reading stuff copied and pasted from Dundee mad. Minter.
Bigmouth Strikes Again
This is pretty much the truth. Been posting for the majority of the day and the above sums it up well. It's like a car crash, once you see it in motion you can't not watch. Is there any hatred towards the p&b Dees?
tripc0de
Is there any hatred towards the p&b Dees? Why would there be any hatred towards P n B Dees? And if there was, who the f*ck cares.

Deestruction
Aye, Mad is generally full of roasters. People overlooking basic things like injuries is mental. Everyone accepted at the start of the season we were going for starting XI quality over squad depth, and most said it was what we had wanted. We're at a time already in the season where we have 3/4 injuries to starting players, and so struggle. Post international break (it's great to have these back for us BTW), we will have 2/3 back fit, and able to show some resemblance of structure. Dyer has been a huge miss. Without him, we have no natural width on the left, and you can't only use width on one side as it exposes you. Now he's back (post break), we can play with WBs again, or switch to wingers whenever we need to, ie late on in games. Kev Thomson was a huge miss as he is the player to link the midfield and defence. Ferry next to him is less relevant to me, but Thomson leads us, and organises. Not to mention that he also keeps players like GGH in check when he doesn't track back fast enough, like on Saturday. Summary - thank f**k for this break. Perfect timing for this one.

Agree with this. As well as Irvine has done playing out of position, we badly miss a natural LB. It so obvious when we like to get the full backs involved, breaks down with Irvine as he's always cutting in onto his right and crowding the middle of the park even further. Would still prefer to see us playing with wingers though, rather than relying totally on our full backs for width. Boyle and Stewart for me, Roberts seems to drift in and out too often.

Yeah, totally agree. Pretty much what I've been saying re KT and WD. I like the wing back approach as it gives more options in midfield. With a diamond, it works well but the backs need to be extra fit to get up and down. The two side midfielders as well...

kevthedee
Its costing dundee fc money to repair seats and do other work in that area otherwise they could close the derry, not really a laughing matter.
ForzaDundee
Its costing dundee fc money to repair seats and do other work in that area otherwise they could close the derry, not really a laughing matter. When they say "14 damaged seats" what they mean is that the screws that attach the pieces of plastic to the wooden bench have come out. Negligible cost. Police aren't daft. They won't make what is currently a minor issue into a major issue by declining a safety certificate. Deestruction
Pretty sure it's £50 a seat, so £700 out, all in. The crux of the issue is that people are running up to the track when we score. If they were to gate the steps up to the pitch, it'd stop that, and we;d get to keep our wee Derry rammys and atmosphere. But instead, they're checking folks tickets (as if they can't just go down the right isle and walk along at the front), roping off the exit / entry corner, and blocking off a block of seats, which does nothing as the fans who sit there aren't the actual culprit area, it's my area of the second block which are. And even then, it's only a few spanners, a few of which have been banned from the ground before, or could be again to stop them doing this stupid shite.
Deestruction
Might be pulling that from my arse, but I was given a figure once, and I'm sure it was that, or something daft and similar. PS. IT'S YIRSEL!
ForzaDundee
Pretty sure it's £50 a seat, so £700 out, all in. It's a piece of blow-moulded plastic FFS. For £50 each you could source cushioned armchairs.
