Paul Nuttall has admitted that the claim on his personal website that he lost a close personal friend at Hillsborough is false.

I knew it!!!  Couldn't imagine him having a close personal friend.

BTW really disappointed that you didn't add "Has any P&B posters lied about losing a close personal friend at a football disaster?"

I lost my dignity once at a Thistle v Rangers game, and faith in humanity, does that count?

Lying about that kind of thing is disgraceful. It's the kind of thing my sister's ex boyfriend used to do before he was trampled by a rhinoceros on Sandeman Street after a Dundee Derby

Sean Spicer's right, that's one of these massacres that the media don't report on.

Paul Nuttall's press officer has resigned and accepted responsibility for this error.  Of course, Nuttall has made reference to the false claims several times in the past, I assume that his press officer made him say it.

You can see why UKIP pushed F-radge to the front as leader. He was TV-friendly and only said mildly dodgy things. Only Loonies, liars and racists left to fill the void.

Having a looney up front will not lose UKIP any of its core support and probably very little of its peripheral support.  We shouldn't underestimate the level of racism, misogynism, bigottry, sexism and xenophobia that existings in the UK.  Sadly that includes a fair portion of Scots too.

That's a lot of 'mistakes'.

Is this similar to how no-one has 'problems' anymore and people have 'issues' instead?

Now nobody tells fucking outrageous lies, they just make 'mistakes', or rather someone else makes mistakes.

You know UK mainstream politics is on a slippery slope when muppets like UKIP are getting so many people voting for them.
