Twinkle
Cheers for that. Saved me a job. Dillon also back to not being terrible !! Dillon was tremendous today. His distribution continues to let him down but he was on top form with his defending today
stumigoo
Dillon was tremendous today. His distribution continues to let him down but he was on top form with his defending today Something our back line seems incapable of doing. Whether it be a throw in, a pass forward, a header or a free kick they seems to be utterly useless at this every single match! Although in fairness today it was the case they had nothing to aim for when we went down to 9 men.
sergie's no1 fan
I'm bias in favour of Brown obviously but he should have got a yellow minimum today but Ciftci is clearly a thug. Brown used to be, he's now a wind up merchant who gets people to react And he got a deserved kick in the chops for being a wind up merchant. Can dish it out but can't take it. Swap Brown for Goodwin and he wouldn't have lasted 15 minutes on the park today.

Yeah when we went to 9 it was aimless punts to relieve the pressure before it came straight back again. When it gets like that, you need player who want possession and are willing to run with the ball to give the defence a breather

If anyone was wondering who the increasingly high pitched and perma-raging guy in the ET Lower screaming for us to "stop giving them the f*cking ball back so easily" was... Hiya everyone, hi pals. Reverend Maynard
Absolutely HEROIC performance from United in the second half. After the poor run of results we've been having I feared the worst but they all really stuck in and worked as a unit, which has been a real issue recently. Expected a late Celtic goal so holding on will do the teams confidence no end of good ahead of next week. Also great to see everyone chear them on - they totally deserved it. The worst offender was Souttar, what in the f**k were his free kicks all about? He seemed intent on drilling it right across the park towards the byeline rather than stick it into the six yard box. Vbhoy
Obviously Celtic will be firm favourites for any game at Parkhead, but they will, at least, be without Van Dijk, Johannsen and Armstrong/GMS again for the replay, so you never know. If Ciftci gets banned, we go back to nailed-on home banker. Ciftci will get banned probably. I've been rewatching it and that has to be a ban. Commons should be back, which is good for us, but we really need Matthews or Lustig back. We don't have a lot of depth in defence.

chazas_
Johansen out of the replay? That's good news. Pretty sure Van Dijk will be out for the final too since his red was for violent conduct.
