jagfox
Fletcher did well. Newcastle were doing okay and Sunderland were pretty rancid. Que polis horses being punched
Richie95
IMO, it was a penalty as Coloccini knew that Fletcher was going for the ball and blocks his path. However, the red card was a bit strict as Fletcher didn't have the ball under his control. Elliot was getting there before Fletcher anyway. stumigoo
Sunderland really are a dreadful side, despite leading this they are surely absolute certainties to go down. "Big Sam" knows exactly what he is doing with this gig, if he does keep them up he will be seen as a genius but if they get relegated it will be "poor old Sam, he was up against it from the start" and his reputation is intact. Mr. Brightside
I know he probably would/will but Moyes swapping San Sebastián for Birmingham is lunacy.
meanmistermustard
Big Sam knows how to keep sides up by playing dull unexciting football. Can see him dragging Sunderland to fourth bottom.
Albino Rover
The red tops and Talksport will be working on their 'St Tim never had a chance. RandomGuy.
2-0 for Sunderland. TBH I can see them staying up, M'Villa, Johnson, Lens and Defoe are all good enough for that and Allardyce will tighten up the backline.

54_and_counting
Or rather Lerner has seen the crazy amount of money he'll need to consistently spend to be a midtable EPL side, lost his bottle for it and now wants to recoup his money by selling players. O'Neill might have wasted some cash but he also had them qualifying for Europe. You won't do that without a lot of investment. Is the europa league worth the spend, villa gambled on getting 4th, they didnt and have been cost cutting since
RandomGuy.
With any luck McClaren gets sacked tonight and Newcastle appoint Tiger Tim to oversee their relegation.
meanmistermustard
Surely McClaren must be fearing getting the punt. Newcastle fans already wanted him gone, losing the derby will get supporters demanding he gets hanged from the nearest lamppost.
