The Grass Is Greener.
This has to be a piss take. Gerard Pique Dani Alves Zlatan Ibrahimovic David Villa Javier Mascherano Adriano Cesc Fabregas Alexis Sanchez Only 4 of those could be deemed successful signings? Aye but they moved on so they must be unsuccessful.

Gaviliunas
So describe him at bayern then, took the treble winning bayern team and got humped off real in the semi final including 4-0 at homeLawl wot, yeah your right he's completely ruined bayern what a disastrous reign he's had there right enough The guys the best manager in the world, his bayern team score 4s and 5s most weeks even in the champions league. Completely tore up that winning champions league bayern team and reinvented it as his own. He's won plenty of silverware at bayern and will go on to do the same in England, by the way that real team went on to win the tournament.
Dunning1874
People who think Ibrahimovic wasn't a success at Barcelona clearly weren't paying attention. He left because he fell out with Guardiola, but he was obviously a success on the pitch. People who think he was a failure seem to think his time there was defined by one poor game against Inter in the semi-final second leg, when in reality he was an integral part of a team which set a points record for La Liga while only losing once all season. BradHorse
they barely have a squad the now to win the EPL in all honesty Outside of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern, who has a better squad than them? There is an argument for one or two teams but Man City's squad of players is not their issue I'd say. Not to mention the fact that much worse squads/first 11's have reached the CL final in recent memory. His fall out with Guardiola is an excellent read. Is there a particular article your referencing here or just the story in general?
RandomGuy.
This has to be a piss take. Gerard Pique Dani Alves Zlatan Ibrahimovic David Villa Javier Mascherano Adriano Cesc Fabregas Alexis Sanchez Only 4 of those could be deemed successful signings? Yes. Just because they were absolutely horrendous doesnt mean they were successful. Adriano, Fabregas, Sanchez were all squad players who featured in a rotation, or were just pure back up, and never performed well enough to cement a solid starting role, which is why they were allowed to leave. Ibra clearly never worked with the club, players or tactics. The final fee for him was 69m euros, and two years later the sold him for 20m euros. A success right enough. Mr. Brightside
Fabregas and Sanchez were not squad players As for Adriano, he's made 110 appearances for Barca, decent signing for a back up.
The Grass Is Greener.
Seydou Keita also played 119 games for Barca over 4 years. Barcelona La Liga: 2008–09, 2009–10, 2010–11 Copa del Rey: 2008–09, 2011–12; Runner-up 2010–11 Supercopa de España: 2009, 2010, 2011 UEFA Champion League 2008–09, 2010–11 UEFA Super Cup: 2009, 2011 FIFA Club World Cup: 2009, 2011 Unsuccessful imo. throbber
I can't imagine who at Man Utd Pep would like to base the team around in order to get his anything like his style of football back, they are a complete shambles. Man City and Arsenal already have much to work with as it is.

throbber
Although Bastian wasn't there a few years ago. Having said all of this he could be the man who goes there and gets rid of Rooney so that could be a start. I just can't see what inspiration he could see from them if he took over there, maybe he will fancy a challenge though as he hasnt had too much of a hard time domestically at Bayern. craigkillie
Guardiola won as many European Cups in his 4 seasons at Barcelona as the club had managed in the 42 years of the competition before he took over.

He's in the ultimate position where any club in the world would take him, so he can literally pick any club in any city and get a big wage to manage them. 7-2
United apparently not approaching him as they believe he's agreed to go to City. I take it they just don't want to be seen to be beaten to him by City if they did go for him. Sticking with LVG.
