We need senior Labour or Lib Dem politicians on board.

This. An independent Scotland will be for all. I can't believe it hasn't dawned on (what's left) of Labour in Scotland that they have a part to play in shaping a Scotland free of Westminster. Who'll be the first Labour person, in the light if what's being said about them looking and listening to their members, to stand up and declare Labour here is now, on reflection, a party of Scottish independence?

Henry McLeish or Kezia Dugdale.

If we held an indy ref vote on yesterdays numbers, going by the party percentage of who voted Yes & No in 2014,

Con 5% Yes

SNP 85% Yes

Lib dem 39% Yes

Labour 37% Yes

Yes would win by 29,005 votes.

Edit because I typed "voted" twice.

Can't see it. He was my MP and he was alright up until Salmond melted his head and he turned into a Brexit loonball. Stewart McDonald put him out of his misery more than anything by taking his seat.

Was Harris not the one calling on Labour voters to vote Tory in Tory-held seats?

Quite possibly, I've lost track of him since skipping the country. I know he is, or at least was, writing for the Telegraph, which doesn't indicate that he's returned to any of his prior trade unionist sensibilities.

If there is to be another campaign yer Tommy Sheridan types (as good a speaker as he is) can't be the face of it again imo. As someone who voted and campaigned for Yes last time the whole movement became infested with moon howlers who's inferiority complex towards England overpowered positive aspects of what we could have been like as an Independent nation. You still see these folk on Twitter replying in their masses to anyone who dares to criticise the SNP at all. That type of attitude put a lot of folk i know off of the movement, even though Sturgeon and Salmond tried to distance themselves from it.

He was on the sunday politics show on radio shortbread a few weeks back tearing into Corbyn calling him an anti-semite saying he would destroy the union and that he was advocating for the public to vote tory. Sounded more like a bigoted bunfield politician than a so called socialist.

If Boris says no and the courts say no thenb the SNP can create a manifesto with a really bold promise about guaranteeing independence (something that would be so plain and obvious that Boris couldn't continue to ignore it).

And then the Tories will continue to ignore it. They really do not give a shit how they're perceived or what norms they end up flouting.

But it’s a valid question.
When Johnson says no to a further Referendum the people of Scotland will have a serious choice to make.
If the democratic will is ignored what are the alternatives?

I don’t have an answer to that. I don’t think anybody does.
