I love that pipe tune.  Is there any sensible Scot who'll get rid of Wee Burnie and the odious SNP or is she and her crew deemed the acceptable face of Nationalism?

Too late...but still a valid question...why do sensible, intelligent Scots think that the gang that is the SNP are the only vehicle to independence and why has there not been a decent alternative to their statism?

Why are the SNP the only vehicle to independence?

Is that a serious question?

They're the only "vehicle" that can do anything about it,  Being that they are in government, n' all.

We could have a war, I suppose.  "Sensible, intelligent Scots" probably wouldn't have enough guns, though.

Of course it is.  The tragically disappointing thing about Scottish politics, especially post-Brexit, is that no other group has put together a government-lite, fiscally-prudent Independence party as a sane alternative to the odious, statist shortbread-munchers.

Given how much The SNP have fucked up being in government this must be a no-brainer?  A meringue?

What does "shortbread-munching" denote of a person or group?  A sweet tooth?  An appreciation of buttery delectation?

Many don't think that the SNP "have fucked up being in government" so it's not really a point we can address as a fact.

Give us an alternative to the SNP and we can look at it.  How would it have been born, would it have gained enough support, would there be a point to it?

Why can't some understand, no matter how often it's repeated, that if the SNP are the party that can facilitate Independence, and they absolutely are, then - if self determination is a destination that one dearly desires - to vote and support the SNP in that quest is essential.  After Independence then the excitement of an entirely open political arena could be the re-birth of a nation.

Maybe, even you, could start a party.  Or end one, as the case may be.

Yes, you couldn't be more of a merinque.

The depth and breadth of the independence movement extends way beyond the SNP.  Only a massively intoxicated troll (fair enough celebrating the fact you're only 8 points behind the famous tbf) would ignore that fact while simultaneously thinking there isn't cross party support with the Greens.

The pretty fuckwitted assertion that independence means we're essentially voting for SNPLand ruled by HRH Crankie is beneath you and so intellectually bereft and incoherent I really don't know why I bothered replying to you in your state of obvious distress and befuddlement.

Pointing out that a lot of people think the SNP have been magnif in government, are in their 3rd term and increased their votes last time around almost seems cruel.

I guess I'd say the same thing after a frontal lobotomy or a decent amount of waterboarding.

You haggis-chuckers can fight it out between you.

We sane people with Scotland's best interests at heart have a different view.
