Seems as though Beattie has drank too many pints of piss over the years and it’s affected his critical faculties.

John Beattie's an arsehole and daytime Radio Scotland is pure shite, but to be fair, there is a bit of truth in this. The wee fuds at the fitba are indeed wee fuds. I've definitely noticed a difference in the atmosphere around away games post-covid, and there are incidents all the time.

There certainly have. And I think fairly.

I do not think J.B. is that bad !

Sock it to them J.B. !

Yet more rich & varied public service broadcasting - really going after the stories that you won't see or hear on commercial outlets.

By the Lord Harry, that has UTTERLY MISSABLE written all over it.

They’ve got the wrong Mark McGhee, despite there being pictures of him online from the game yesterday!

That is the absolute definition of the purpose of this thread. Great stuff.

Can anyone who actually understands how SEO works these days explain the ridiculous word salad that the Daily Record and others use in their headlines? It's like Esperanto or chinglish and has definitely become a thing in the past couple of years.

(also here for the "World Media" cringe regarding the OF game)

According to the BBC sport website just now the EdinBRUGH Derby is waiting for a goal.

I wonder how Liverploo, Leicetser, Newcaslte and Southamtpon will do today?

It's a spelling mistake.

Just like you spelled four football teams wrong in your second paragraph there.

If a tiny typo like that counts as terrible journalism then I've got plenty of articles about "Livingstone" for you

They'd all be good examples. If Scottish journalists can't spell Livingston (either the town or football club) properly then that's terrible. It's literally their job to report things accurately.
