The Terrible Journalism & Tom English Thread

Recommended Posts

Are loads of folk just not reading or seeing the posts on here or something? Last page or two has just been baffling.

Doonhame Buddie posts Terrible Journalism in the appropriate thread, Arch Stanton then posts the same thing later, RawB83 highlights that the Terrible Journalism has already been posted, Arch seems to take umbridge at that (?), Ewanandmoreagain then goes back to the original point rather than the point RawB83 seemed to be making, then ropy answers a question nobody really asked. Can we not all just agree that the BBC are awful and get back to Terrible Journalism (or in this case not knowing that three and four are entirely different numbers)?

Relax. @Arch Stanton is a sound poster. He posted a microsecond after I did and someone called him out for it. Daft.
It’s not reasonable to expect everyone reads every post.
Let’s all just get along.

I had to go back a page to read over what you were talking about, yep, it's pretty much all over the place, like trying to follow a game on the bbc's open all mic's..

At least the BBC have listed the Scottish Cup fixtures and placed them in between the English Championship and League One fixtures for Saturday. Word hasn’t got through that they’re the reason one of the ties is now on Monday.

Fearless impartial 'journalist' Chris Jack ('Lead Rangers Writer' at The Herald Group) now seems to contribute regularly to some webthing called Rangers Review as well as redrafting Sevco press releases for the Herald and Times. Here's a cringey tweet/X from its reporting of their Eurotie last week.

Not sure what it's a different class of but of course they were back to booing their team three days later.

The bint doing the BBC Scotland bit on Breakfast this morning,

'Rangers beat Motherwell 1 - 0 to leapfrog them into third behind Celtic at the top of the the league',

Has second place and St Mirren been deleted from the SPFL, or just not worth mentioning.

I'm sure the Daily Record will publish similar articles whenever Celtic play a domestic match against anyone other than Rangers.

They didn't at the weekend. All the talk was about plucky Celtic having to endure that "dangerous" plastic pitch

And Brendan Rodgers heroically saving a young fan from our plastic pitch when he was halted by a Steward and fell down onto the pitch. Rodgers rushed over to put his arm around the bhoy and take him back to the stand.

Rodgers playing to the crowd and they all lapped it up, he's a hero again.
