ICTJohnboy
Tam Paton was done for nonceitude. He claimed to be the man behind the Bay City Rollers, although it was what he was doing behind them seemed to be the problem. I had him in the back of my taxi once.

tamthebam
Derek Longmuir's niece was on Uni Challenge representing Edinburgh University in 1995. Nice lass. Maybe I should have posted that on "Random Facts you made up" even though it's true.

Glenconner
Poor sods never made two bob out of being the BCRs. How much talent they had is open to question.
BFTD
Didn't they do the original version of 'Playground Bangaround'? Oh, the Seventies.
Scary Bear
I didn't see this, but it's evidently got some beastly overtones. Having to keep their top buttons undone, not wear underpants and the attempted rape of one of them. Obviously having to keep your top button undone is a standard contractual term, but they other two are a bit dodgy. Hillonearth
Poor sods never made two bob out of being the BCRs. How much talent they had is open to question. It's still happening 40 years on with the X Factor generation of manufactured acts. They sign a "million pound" deal with stars in their eyes, not realising that out of that mill they've got to pay for the already-recorded album of covers they won't make a penny out of writing royalties from, the promo video(s), fees for management etc. and the costs of touring. Six months later when they're dropped like a hot potato after a Christmas No.1 and a stiff of a follow-up album, they're lucky if they see a fraction of it. And still they sign up.
