Loki
This is the seventh occasion that Djokovic has come back and levelled the match 2-2 after being 2-0 down. Ominously for Tsitsipas Djokovic has only lost once. Andy Murray stopping the comeback in the final of the US Open in 2012. jaggyness
That, is probably why Djokovic will go down as the greatest player to ever have picked up a racquet.
cdhafc1874
And Novak completes the comeback from 2 sets down. Fair play.Only player in the open era to have won all 4 grand slams at least twice.
Lex
Djokovic two sets down in the quarters to Berretini, wins in five. Lost the first set to the greatest clay court player of all time in the semi, wins in four. Two sets down in the final to Tsitsipas, wins in five.Unbelievable, has to be one of the all time great major wins. All time majors now:Nadal 20Federer 20Djokovic 19Bit of inevitability about Novak finishing top of that list when all three are retired. He’s the youngest of the three and in the best shape physically. Hard to see any one other than him winning Wimbledon in a few weeks.

printer
Sensational stuff again from Novak. Hopefully Tsitsipas comes out of this stronger and leads the new generation of new talents forward so that we can enjoy several years of classic slams and rivalries between them similar, if not as good, to what we have been treated by Nadal, Federer and Djoko (with the lesser but significant contribution of Andy Murray).

Only met twice, mind, but Murray's record on the surface is pretty outstanding. 84% win rate, 85% at Wimbledon, 2 slams, 1 slam runner-up, 1 Olympics and 5 wins at Queens, plus 2 singles and a doubles win in a Davis Cup semi final. Another closely connected stat is that 9 of his 46 singles titles have been won in London - those grass titles, plus the ATP Final.

Not to mention his doubles win at Queens, and his silver medal in mixed doubles. Both on grass too. He also handed out Roger Federer’s worst ever defeat on grass too.

Arsehole Aye Andrew, he’s chosen to miss 3 years of competitive tennis as he just thinks he’s injured.
Loki
I am glad I pay my Amazon subscription and don’t have to put up with Andrew Castle. He’s only there for the two week casuals. I thought Murray was fine today, decent movement, tactically he’s still very much there. First serve went missing at times, but that’s just the usual. Paire was Paire. Some outrageous shots followed by utter guff. Good that he was out of there in just over an hour. Berretini next. A good test against the number one seed.
