PauloPerth
After another pointless and unwanted international break, it's back to league business with a trip along to our neighbours. It must seem a lifetime ago for United fans, but it's less than 10 months since they were within a couple of points of top of the league halfway thru the season, and had a League Cup Final and Scottish Cup quarter final ahead. Since we played at McDiarmid at the end of September, United have scored 1 goal in their last 6 games. Mixu will have had a fortnight since the game at Aberdeen, so a good opportunity to work with his squad. How do Utd fans see them lining up? Saints are on a great run with 7 wins out of their last 8 matches in all competitions. However that defeat was against at the time bottom placed Partick Thistle, who hadn't won at McDiarmid in 22 years, so there's never any guarantees in this league. We were also fortunate not to be a couple behind at Hamilton at HT and only just sneaked a win against Kilmarnock in the last two matches. That said, we have been good to watch this season, scoring an average of 2 goals per game. Our attacking players have been in great form and look a constant threat. Graham Cummins will be a loss, but it gives Chris Kane an opportunity to build on his recent goals at Greenock and against Killie. Chris Millar was on the bench in the last game so may come straight in ahead of Darnell Fisher in the middle. Spoony had a great game last time out, so should start instead of the suspended Liam Craig. The difficult choice will be at the back; Shaughnessy was unlucky to drop out but I would expect the defence to be the same as that which started the previous game. Unleash the O'Halloran .... Mannus Mackay Anderson Scobbie Easton O'Halloran Millar Davidson Wotherspoon Maclean Kane
Waffelz
Probably win this by a couple.
RandomGuy.
Wish this game was this weekend. Hope we show no mercy and humiliate these c***s. 5-0.
Granny Danger
(St Johnstone will) Probably win this by a couple. FTFY I genuinly think progress in terms of team organisation and workrate is more important than the points.
Deeboy
Hoping for a draw here from our own perspective, reckon United will nick it though with a Billy McKay brace.

The Saintee
United 0 Saints 3 Durnan (og), MacLean pen ( fouled by Durnan), O'Halloran ( deflection off Durnan).
ArabianKnight
United 0 Saints 3 Durnan (og), MacLean pen ( fouled by Durnan), O'Halloran ( deflection off Durnan). Likeliest turn of events.
ArabianKnight
If we go by the rumours/lads coming in United could line up like this Kawa McGowan Dillon Gunning Dixon Souttar Paton Rankin Dow McKay Evans
Reverend Maynard
I genuinly think progress in terms of team organisation and workrate is more important than the points. Agreed. Two aspects of the set up under our former manager that were woeful. A clean sheet against this st Johnstone side would be a big step forward . The Durnan factor is a worry though. ArabGaz
United 0 Saints 3 Durnan (og), MacLean pen ( fouled by Durnan), O'Halloran ( deflection off Durnan). That genuinely wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. He would probably also still keep his place in the side for the Hamilton game.
Granny Danger
If we go by the rumours/lads coming in United could line up like this Kawa McGowan Dillon Gunning Dixon Souttar Paton Rankin Dow McKay Evans The fact that there's two players that could GTF out of that lineup ahead of Souttar makes me sad. Pull My Strings
If we go by the rumours/lads coming in United could line up like this Kawa McGowan Dillon Gunning Dixon Souttar Paton Rankin Dow McKay Evans I realise you're trying to be controversial but there is literally no chance of United lining up anything like that. Widge
United to win and saints fans to get all precious about Michael O'Halloran when it's suggested he's really no as good as they think he is. Yass! That's definitely getting back to your usual standards Stanley. Long may it continue to rile folk. Tbf you do have a point regarding O'Halloran, some folk think he's going to end up playing Premiership football. He's got all the attributes, he's just thick as shit. Until hse coached properly (and the signs are encouraging) he'll never be a top player.

Lancashirearab
5-3 barnstormer. Anderson with all 9 in a saints win. And the goal that was disallowed will be proven onside by television replays. Note 5 + 3 =
