How many years is that since Morton beat us in a competitive game q8 years is it ? Seriously we are utter crap yet still Morton can't beat us absolutely hilarious. On a brighter note Rae is a good appointment can own see us finishing above Morton like we always do even when we are utter shite. Had £20 on Saints at two to one from Landbrooks so mustn't grumble.

Nice to get another win and clean sheet away from home. I hope it's not another false dawn though. Should endear Alex to the fans a bit more too, we need to get our home form sorted drastically.

It's not about being flash at this level, it's about organisation, digging in and winning ugly.

Realistically we can still catch QOTS, anything above that would be a huge bonus but we still aren't very good.

You'll need to be a bit hesitant on the positivity given that the game wasn't MUCH different from the last one, outside of us not managing a jammy equalizer. If you can kick on from it, that'll be when to start talking about a good appointment.

Same spunk patter we've heard all season from you lot. Talk up how shite you are in the hope that any positive results are a jackpot and defeats are expected anyway. Flirting with relegation to league 1 the season after being in the top flight is more of a GIRFUY to you pumpkin

17 years and counting.......................

Your right, we can only really take it one game at a time. We showed a bit of grit holding on to the lead this time , not sure we would have held on under Murray.

It's still the same crop of players who have been poor but there aren't many teams who have blown me away with their ability. Rangers,Hibs are streets ahead with Falkirk a bit behind them and ahead of the rest of us.

It will be a much more interesting league when Rangers and Hibs go up, United come down and Dunfermline finally get promoted.

To be fair. Rae has managed as many wins in 3 league matches as Murray managed in the prior 16.

Made the same mistake 3 times this season. Keep expecting Morton to be better than they actually are.

Keep thinking if we play like how good we are they will surely win easy. We played as good as we are... And won.

Snob alert; Got used to watching a decade of top flight football and then this. The drop off in standard is unreal. We played like today against a shite top flight side we would have lost 3+-0.

Firstly, St. Mirren deserved the win.

Since our last game against Raith, St. Mirren have played two football matches whilst our team have been out on the piss, and it certainly showed today. Our midfield may have been makeshift but there was no excuse for that display. No one chased the loose ball and all too often they were leaving it to each other. Morton looked knackered (especially Forbes, McKee and Miller) whilst St. Mirren looked much fitter than us. McManus gets pass marks for effort - back making passes along the defence at one point - but the rest looked average at best.

In a game we were chasing and badly needed the ball on the deck, he makes one sub and the hoofball just continued. Why not chuck Quitongo on - he couldn't have been any worse than the rest?

Duffy f''ked up badly today, but the overall performance was woeful. The draw at Ibrox has gone to their heads more than any festive booze may have.
