Wilky1878
I see that Alloa narrowed their pitch. That's going to make ot even harder to break down a 10 man defence. Holts back though and he can find space anywhere. MOH will probably get a start too. Oh boohoo it's the same for every team
BobWilliamson
Oh boohoo it's the same for every team Have Alloa narrowed their pitch or are they doing it specifically for this game? I have no problem either way. Souness did it years ago for a European game against Dinamo Keiv
Waggy-1872
Oh boohoo it's the same for every team I'm not moaning about it. We did the same under souness against Dynamo Kiev. If it gives your team a slight advantage then there's nothing wrong with it.
BFTD
Have we narrowed our pitch? I'm unsure on this point. I don't think it's been mentioned, but I hear Graeme Souness did something similar once, so it's probably OK. On another topic, how's the Rangers songbook these days? I haven't read much about it lately

Wilky1878
It was a Chelsea song about Fabregas, so not yours. Actually, as far as I'm aware it's been an alloa song since 1999. Definitely since I've been going anyway, so a bit before Fabregas time at Chelsea I think.
RedRob72
Pitch same for both teams, we train on this sort of pitch regularly! let's just go there, get stuck in and win. Mon Rangers

thepundit
It's maybe lacking in sporting integrity but Alloa are allowed to alter the dimensions of their pitch and one has to respect they're doing what they believe they have to do in order to improve their chances of gaining points. I have no issue with that and it's now up to Rangers to go out and get the win. I do agree with Mark Warburton though in that pitch dimensions should be confirmed before the season starts with no option to change it during the league campaign. 2-0 Rangers. Everybody will play 9 games on the wider surface and 9 on the smaller dimensions. Entirely fair and totally by the book.
