May refuses to confirm that she raised the issue of Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the murder of Khashoggi.

Another gutless toady.

She probably apologised to the Crown Prince for the negative press and gave him 10% off the next batch of hi-tech fighters

An election is surely on the agenda

Maybe. Also seeing on Twitter that several Tories in different areas visiting foodbanks on instruction from HQ, apparently all tweeting the same text about it, word-for-word. Shameless fucking vermin

You are very correct.

I genuinely despise Ross Thomson. He makes me unbelievably angry.

It's a strange old world where you go from chugging over Pamela Anderson in Barb Wire in the 90s to thinking she is smarter and better informed than 99% of the media in 2018.

Barb Wire? Bitch, please. She did actual porn back in those days.

...not the point, perhaps, but still  <_<

This feels like it should be in the Facts You Made Up thread, and yet...

Turns out it's true.

1 in 3 children live in poverty in the UK apparently.
"We've only got a tiny 55" TV and we can't afford more than 1 trip to Benidorm per year."

Have they seen the kids in Africa?
Now that is real poverty.

Ungrateful little b*****ds. If one good thing can come of brexit, it's getting those wee rodents back up the chimney's.

Not entirely convinced Feudalism could be described as "more equal times"

Her maw did I think.

Baroness Osamor has been introduced to the House of Lords, just down the corridor from where her daughter is an MP.

The former Labour councillor was nominated for the peerage by Jeremy Corbyn, and is now Baroness Osamor, of Tottenham in the London Borough of Haringey and of Asaba in the Republic of Nigeria

Nigel Farage resigns from UKIP as it's too racist.

What a hero.

This might turn out to be important.

We are fortunate that the rise in ‘mainstream’ right wing parties that is taking place across Europe is not being replicated in the UK.

Whatever you think of Farage he is well respected by a section of the community and his resignation from UKIP will hopefully weaken it.

Unless brexit is reversed of course, in which case, we can look forward to seeing a UKIP Government at the end of the next election.
