Rogers

Tavernier* Grant Toshney Wallace

Holt Vaulks Henderson McKay

Waghorn Baird

*Don't really rate the guy, but there isn't much to chose from for that position and his stats speak for themselves.

Subs: Cuthbert, Hanlon, Cummings, Johnstone, Miller, Sibbald.

There was a bit of discussion on this in the Hibs vs Falkirk thread at the start of the week so I thought it'd be worth starting a thread.

One of the benefits of having Rangers in the league has been having so many games televised. We've been able to get a better look at all the teams in the league and so I feel I'm better placed to put together a team of the season.

For me, for this season:

Foderingham

Tavernier Hanlon Grant Wallace

Kerr McGinn

Alston Holt McKay

Waghorn

Subs: Rogers, Toshney, Muirhead, Vaulks, McGeouch, K Miller, Baird

Surprised Kenny Miller hasn't been named. He's had a brilliant season.

Literally the first post.

Surprised Kenny Miller hasn't been named. He's had a brilliant season.

He's done well, particularly at the business end of the season, and he does tend to be picked for the big games, but he's not been all that regular a starter for Rangers all season so it's hard to make that good a case for him being in an all Championship team when Waghorn already has a place absolutely sewn up and he's got far bigger scorers such as Baird and Cummings competing for the other forward spot in people's thoughts.

To be fair I didn't appreciate Miller had that many goals. The fact remains though he's not an automatic starter for Rangers.

13 league goals though.

League only is the only way you can fairly judge all players, due to the difference in cup draws etc.

3 behind cummings and 4 behind Baird, with the two of them playing more minutes.

Baird-17 goals, 3 assists, 165minutes per goal, 2799 minutes played.

Cummings-16 goals, 1 assist, 151 minutes per goal, 2420 minutes played.

Miller-13 Goals, 4 assists, 129 minutes per goal, 1676 minutes played.

Christian Nade - 7 goals, 1 assist, 109 minutes per goal, 764 minutes played

And he's playing for a dross team who barely ever attack. So Nade > Everyone

I'd give Miller some kind of award for being the first player to play for all 3 Old Firm teams.

How is that when his current team have only been in existence for four seasons?

They can't be that old!
