You mean the Terrors? The Arabs is the nickname for the fans, the Terrors for the team.

Otherwise you're correct.

I did not know this.

Every day's a school day.

Theres an awful lot of arrogance and complacency amongst SNP voters on here.

This is exactly what ended up killing the Labour party up here.

What? How in god's name did the arrogance of the voters on here kill the Labour Party up here?

In 2003 the SNP secured a measly 23% of the constituency vote and well under the actual number of votes obtained by the Tories this month.

And how many votes did a proper right wing party receive ? If you really think the Tories can WIN Scotland then you don't know very much, which we all know anyway.

It's become a bit of a bromide to claim that complacency killed Labour in Scotland. This (perhaps deliberately) effaces the constitutional aspect of their downfall since devolution.

Labour after 1999 continued to treat Scotland as a diddy wee region (or fiefdom) of the British state, to be administered by a branch of British Labour. In no way did they ever consider putting Scotland first in anything, because it was never anything approaching a country - the UK is what was important and what must always come first. To those who considered Scotland a country, this is the equivalent of a UK party that always puts France's interests first, or a Danish party whose primary concern is the smooth and successful running of Germany.

As long as the SNP are the only credibly Scottish party looking out for the nation's interests, they will do better than a party which has no interest in that nation. It's a ludicrous situation of course - most democracies in the world have all their parties ostensibly seeking to represent that nation. Thanks to the union, Scotland has one, with its rivals all seeking to represent a region of another nation.

I'm no fan but Labour got 22.5% of the vote which was .5% more than the Tories yet all we have is wee Roofs arrogance as she shouts and bawls about  how she will destroy the prospects of a 2nd referendum as the 22% of wahoos get all stiff upper lipped as the sing god save the queen.

Hence the popularity, even with a good number of No voters who can see that this isn't all about the independence debate, as is being made out by many. Evidently more so when it involves sending MPs to Westminster.

Stupidity also played a part. Around here, more than enough of that is supplied by you.

We could do with another Mrs T, probably my favourite ever Briton.

Shut the Scottish Parliament whilst we're at it. Annex Dundee with 30 foot electrified fences, all you Yessists can f**k off there and have your civilised, progressive society.

Turn Holyrood into a workhouse for the remaining able bodied workshy who we haven't managed to ship off to the City of Discovery. Sterelise them and we can be rid of the blight in a generation. They can live out of sight of the hard working, aspirational peoples of North Britain.

Rule Britannia!

I think this will be as good as it gets for the Torys here in Scotland. Ruth will constantly be seen as Cameron, Osborne and Boris's lackey. She won't be the queen of the north, rather a puppet of her southern masters.

Enjoy Torys while you can

Boris's lackey? He's at war with Dave and Gideon. Boris and Dave have disliked each other since they were at Oxford together. Davidson is very loyal to Cameron who told her that she would get his full support if she stood against Fraser. It will be fascinating to see how she copes against Sturgeon at FMQs. If, as I suspect, she struggles, her career will fade quickly.

Do you have any patter which you havent stolen straight from Jimmy Carr?

Don't associate with tax avoiders like Carr or Cameron's old man. I think folk should pay their taxes.
