LargsTON
For anyone that's been critical of Josh Taylor you might want to check out his podcast with James English. Came across really well; down to earth and humble. Really good watch.

Glad I've came away with my opinion altered for the better, after all his defeat of Ohara Davies is the best fight I've ever been to.
J_Stewart
Canelo completely and utterly outclassed Yildrim as expected. Very much looking forward to the Billy Joe Saunders fight now though, that should be a legitimate test for him and BJS will probably the best pure boxer he’ll have been in with since Mayweather. Should be a good build-up as well.

Boostin' Kev
Canelo never fares as well against slick operators, the Trout and Lara decisions were debatable. The Saunders fights a good chance for him to convince doubters.

I will grudgingly back him to stop BJS or landslide him.
quickoverayard
What have we seen from BJS to make anyone think he has a chance of beating Canelo??? All this pish about how good he may be..... got to judge it on now and as of now Canelo stops him inside 8! People go on about BJS being a slick fighter and Canelo struggling against southpaws need to remember Canelo has improved outrageously from his defeat against Mayweather and could possibly be the most complete fighter of his era

Don’t think he’ll freeze like the lad the other night.

Yeah that’s the shite thing about mandatory fights!! I have my doubts he’ll make it into the ring, was his last fight the debut in the states? He doesn’t have the power to keep Canelo off him, only person I see troubling Canelo is Benavidez! He’s on another level.... you’ll get the drug cheat shout but BJS Is in that very same boat!

I don’t particularly mind if he holds some of the views about the pandemic that he does, its the way he was posting them to his social media channels incessantly, often sharing information that was just obviously nonsense and therefore dangerous. I will have a listen to the interview you mention, although I’ve tried to stay away from any of the James English interviews. Comes across like the Scottish Danny Dyer, sooking up to neds and gangsters for some YouTube views.
Shandon Par
I don’t think the sober, in an interview situation, version of Taylor is a problem. The nasty side of him comes out with a drink or in the build up to a fight. It’s also the same streak that makes him a mean fighter. If he was a more palatable person would he be a less fearsome boxer?

A few years ago at 160 it'd have been a very interesting fight. Edited March 2, 2021 by Boostin' Kev

Every single interview I’ve watched has been about BJS is this and that.... he’s done nothing for me to think he has a chance against Canelo. Smith has every physical advantage over Canelo and he won maybe 2 rounds! Yes Canelo has had 2 questionable decisions GGG 1 and Lara but I don’t see anyone beating him anytime soon!
kiddy
If Saunders beats Canelo, it would be a bigger shock than Honeyghan/Curry.
Rob1885
BJS best wins are Andy Lee and David Lemieux? Sure Alvarez is quaking in his boots.
MONKMAN
15 years today since Joe Calzaghe dismantled Jeff Lacy in one of my favourite fights by a British fighter, with a 12 round beat down.
