Not seen any of him as a pro, but 6-0 so far... I know who Josh Taylor is I trained at Lochend for a while.

NorthernJambo
I know who Josh Taylor is I trained at Lochend for a while. Apologies mate, I've misunderstood your post. Nurse and Hibbert are decent fighters. 2014 for Ryan's win v Nurse. 2015 for the win v Hibbert but then lost the rematch.

Tbh because I finally found a way to watch worldwide fights every week I generally cba watching British level stuff. I'd like to support Josh Taylor though and will probably end up paying for it. It looks like I'm going to have to ask my girlfriend to go with me so that'll leave me £80 lighter if I decide to go.
NorthernJambo
Ouch! £80 before you've even got a drink. Think the pricing is a bit off with this but hopefully be a decent crowd in.
Boostin' Kev
I know what you mean. It's an awful price for a local prospect I probably shouldn't go out of principle tbh.
Meth Damon
Aye was winning quite clearly if I remember right then something in his back went and just couldn't go on. Taylor and his team are obviously confident to be taking this in only his 7th fight. He's never even been into the 3rd round in a pro fight, every chance this'll be 12 hard rounds.

Think Jack Catterall is going after Nurse, Taylor should be looking at the winner of that if he can get past Ryan. It's a really decent division domestically when you start thinking about it
J_Stewart
Ricky's fighting his mandatory on the 7th October in Glasgow.http://www.boxingnewsonline.net/ricky-burns-sets-world-title-defence/
Marshmallo
Boxrec has that boy as number 230 in the world at the weight.230.For reference, Josh Taylor is number 169. -
Marshmallo
Not much they can do if he's a mandatory as the belt is the draw as much as Burns himself, he can't vacate or he won't fill Braehead never mind the Hydro. -
Neilly
Only a couple of weeks now until a good fucking knees up darn London for the Brook fight. Going to turn up just for the main event out of my dome and give it the big one.
Marshmallo
Joshua rumoured to be facing Pulev which would be fairly decent without being spectacular. Undercard rumoured to have some combo of Parker/Price/Molina/Breazeale. -
Meth Damon
Guerrero lost to an actual taxi driver who had never fought outside of Argentina last night, if you watch it be sure to look for the celebration dance after the decision is announced its a thing of beauty

Marshmallo
Peralta was 30/1, craziness. Buster Douglas was 47/1 to beat Tyson to give those odds some context. Breazeale was about 9/1 against Joshua. -
