On a separate issue, do we want Hibs knocked out? McCart ain’t going to Hibs, he’s destined for greater things than Scottish football. He’s quite frankly an excellent footballer and a player of his ability won’t hang around long. We have just drawn away to Galatasary in a European fixture, and we're disappointed we didn't win. I know it's gutting that we've been forced to watch this incredible team achieve all of these remarkable feats from our sofas, or latterly in the pub, but I don't think we can underestimate how much St Johnstone FC, the board, the manager, the coaching staff and the players have made such an appalling 18 months a brighter happier place for all of us Saints fans. I'm so proud of this team, but also extremely grateful to them for what they have achieved. We thought the 2014 team was special, and it was, but it doesn't come near this team in my eyes. They're winners, they're successful, most of them are young or signed for us when they were young and have grown with the club and several of them will likely leave us and play at a much higher level. Tonight was a free hit, for us to still be in it is fanfuckingtastic. Pack out Mcdiarmid next week, these players deserve it. Also, let’s be real here, this team likely doesn’t have long together. But I will enjoy it very much. I’ve no fear for the future. Davidson and his players will be in large demand but will make sure we’re well looked after.
