Double Winning St Johnstone FC Thread

Also been confirmed we ran with 6 subs on Wednesday because May was expected to be in the squad, which helps show how far along things were when May decided he wanted more money.

He apparently only has an offer on the table from Dundee.

Dundee have 3 first team strikers as it.

Absolute NAP in six months hes sitting on their bench in the Championship.

Seeing your complete about turn on Stevie May has been amazing viewing. He's went from winning you the league to sitting on the bench in the championship in matter of days.

I hope you sign some players soon if only to bring you back from the cliff edge.

How could he have been in the squad?

He had not signed

More importantly we would not have had time to register him

If by some way, he was in the squad the outcome was very unprofessional

Stevie May (or maybe more accurately Rowan Vine) sounds like an absolute cock, tbqh.

He’s cast St Johnstone aside because they wouldn’t up their already very good offer, which he’d apparently been happy with previously.

He’s fucking rotten these days anyway. Whoever gets him will likely end up disappointed.

Aye the notion he was meant to be in the squad is nonsense. Not a change his registration would have gone through that quickly, plus if it had already been submitted, he be tied to actually playing for saints as we’d hold his details. A bit like the Britain saga.

He would have been in the squad if he had come in Wednesday to finalise it as was the plan.

Nobody on here knows if the offer was good/bad/shite.

We've maybe allowed him to agree terms with St Johnstone and then he's discovered we're not willing to offer him as much as a pay off as he'd anticipated.

As I said very unprofessional,  preparing the squad with a player who has not signed or registered with no contingency.

To be fair, the contingency would probably have been David McMillan.

Same result.

He expected it to go through, had already arranged to send some players off to play in that friendly - it was a pointless game at home to a shite team .... which we won 4-0.

not really worth getting that worked up over...

As I said, it just proves how far along the deal was when they changed their demands.
