DutchBorderer
We're back in NL after a mighty fine Easter Weekend in Edinburgh and that beautiful four-seasons-in-one-day trip up to Arbroath. Have to laud everyone at the club for their hospitality and genuine kindness to two complete strangers who wiggled their way onto the bus. Hope everyone enjoyed the stroopwafels, and hope to see you all back at the new Meadowbank one day. No doubt that it'll be for League football as I have no doubts City are staying up. Missing my bff Mr. Blobby though (Credit for pic goes to the good people at Abroath FC)
DutchBorderer
Don't usually like to double-post, but finished my write-up on City's strip for this season for my football shirt site. Give it a read if you like (and if you run the club's Facebook page, do consider posting a link to it and my site's Facebook page *hint*hint*nudge*nudge*); https://club25football.wordpress.com/2017/04/19/matchworn-edinburgh-city-20162017-home-shirt/
Mr Blobby
Update! Trust Buckie Thistle to throw a spanner in the works but sense prevailed in the end. It turns out Formartine Utd listed Max Berton in their squad against Buckie in the same match and he had also been recalled from a Keith loan deal after March 31st deadline. So two wrongs can make a right after all . Buckie can now go on to win the Highland League on Saturday and meet East Kilbride in the play offs for a chance to meet Cowdenbeath or Berwick Rangers or Clyde or Edinburgh City in the pyramid finals. 'Elvis' has left the Building! and Buckie Thistle Hung Out To Dry. Page 4 & 9 for the City Fanzine. 22 April. Edinburgh City v Annan Athletic. Meadowbank Stadium Kick Off 3:00pm. AllyMonc
Watching The Man United game on the telly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic plays almost exactly like Craig Beattie. He's now lying on the ground injured, the resemblance is uncanny.

Well done them! They embarassed Hutchison Networks....!
Velazquez Blue
Amended plans for the new Meadowbank have been published showing the latest in off pitch player comforts (modelled here by celebrity manager Dick Campbell) Brian Ross leaves Cowdenbeath. Are you happy now?

Free Pdfs of each issue are available upon request and sent via email where people can print them off themselves. Or alternatively, a limited number of printed versions are available free of charge on match days at Meadowbank or on the supporters' bus at away games. Just ask Mr Blobby when you see him! DutchBorderer
Reaching safety before Berwick, Clyde, and Cowdenbeath do, who'd have thunk it during pre-season? 'Grats to all my City friends, way to show that the club (and the play-offs) are a good addition to the SFL!
