Busta Nut
Barcelona were linked with Gameiro about a month ago too. He is a goal scorer, Barca are looking for some like him who would be willing to sit on the bench most of the time but could still be a threat if brought on. Dunno if Gameiro would wanna though. Mr. Brightside
Mehdi the Merc in Turin for a medical before a move to Juve. Pretty strange move IMO
spacekid84
Grant Hanley has agreed terms with Newcastle, just waiting on the teams agreeing a fee.

All that's wrong in modern football. Why are players and agents agreeing terns when the clubs haven't agreed a transfer fee?
Deeboy
Doesn't the club have to give permission to negotiate deals? as in, they're close to agreeing a price and let the player plan ahead too?
Kris.
A few places in Italy suggesting Juve have agreed terms with Gonzalo Higuain and have even bid 75m euros for him. Would be really disappointing to see him move there. Napoli could do a lot with that kind of money though, but they'd never manage to find an affordable replacement for him. Bully Wee Villa
You could get someone pretty fantastic for half that or less. I'd take €75 million for him. What's that now, about £4 billion?
Ron Aldo
Wouldn't be the worst decision by Napoli to sell him for that kind of money. Isn't much of their current team built from the fee they got for Cavani?

spacekid84
There's going to be an awful lot of unhappy Dortmund fans, they were hoping to sign Schurrle but wolfsburg were asking for 40 million euros apparently.

The Grass Is Greener.
Gotzes better than Schurrle Yeah but you could understand Dortmund fans preferring Schurrle because of how Gotzes left and who he went to.

From FEAR THE WALL forum "He is washed up, and he isn’t good enough for the team anymore. As to his statement, if he was considering a move to Munich, than he should have kept his fat mouth shut and never bothered to say anything at all. Am I the only one who thinks signing a loser benchwarmer is a bad idea? Am I the only one here who thinks signing a traitor who spent three years on a bench and expecting him to actually contribute to this team is a bad idea? People are bitching up and down about a potential Schürrle transfer but are willing to accept abackstabbing little weasel!? People complain about signing a player who has history with TT and could be good again under his tutelage, but are willing to accept the guy who screwed his team over? This is going to backfire. He’s going to come here, spend his time screwing everything up, because again, he’s spent THREE YEARS on the bench, and then end up running off again. No second chances. Let him go waste someone else’s time and money."

Yeah I can't imagine he's the most popular figure, but surely even they can see that spending an extra ~£20m for an inferior player purely because of some petty grudge is madness. Or would that be Emre Mor who they signed from Nordsjælland? Is Gotze even needed? They've replaced Gundogan with Rode from Bayern Munich, Hummels with Bartra from Barcelona. Some papers are even saying that Gotze and Schurrle will both be signed. So many questions! Additionally, they're being linked with Newcastle's Moussa Sissoko. £35m apparently. Oy vey... He can play either but prefers the left so he can cut in and shoot on his right foot. Can play in the middle also. f**k knows why Chelsea let go of him.
