Dessers looked quite good too, seems to be able to do some good link up play, Lammers was also impressive again. Sima had a poor game but we can't read too much into it. Matondo was utter shite, his touch and decision making is criminal. I know he's fast but I still struggle to understand how he has made a living from football. Personally, I'm all for young Scottish talent emerging and taking their chances but there's precious little evidence of Rangers* fielding Scottish youngsters (future internationalists promoted from the B team or otherwise) considering that Beale is assembling a squad almost entirely comprising of newly imported foreigners. He is coming with a decent pedigree having been at both Ajax and Feyenoord and he seems fairly well rated by the Feyenoord fans. And while he wasn’t a regular starter, a goal every 146 mins and a goal involvement every 114 mins across all competitions last season I’m hopeful will translate well into a league that’s likely inferior than the Eredivisie.
