bennett
EURO STARS Rangers ranked as Scotland’s most successful club in European football as Celtic and two others make the top 100 CELTIC may be the only Scottish side to have won the European Cup but it’s RANGERS who are the country’s most successful club when it comes to European football history. The Ibrox side feature in tenth spot on a list that shows the amount of points collected from each club for the UEFA country ranking since 1955/56 That’s better than the likes of AC Milan, Inter, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid – and rivals Celtic who find themselves in 15th place. Two other Scottish clubs make the top 100 – with Aberdeen way down in 92nd and Hibs in 96th. Perhaps unsurprisingly Spanish superstars Real Madrid and Barcelona lead the way in first and second respectively, ahead of Benfica, Bayern Munich and Juventus. Ajax, Man United, Porto and Dynamo Kyiv make up the rest of the top 10 of all-time just ahead of Rangers.

Jinky67
Yes because points look much better in the trophy cabinet than the actual trophies themselves

Orbix
In stories actually related to Rangers (in the Rangers thread! Shock horror) its not a significant fee, so I don’t think we’ve made £20m on him, but it’s somewhere between £0 and that.
G51
Can't believe we've sold him. A truly irreplaceable part of the side.

Won't all be Basseys.

Think the only sticking point was that he was on a much longer contract than that pint required. Might do well at Cardiff and operate in that Kyle Bartley/Joe Worrall zone of not quite top level but decent.

DMCs
Awesome news but I never really expected anything else. A little weird it doesn't give an exact year that he's extended to but perhaps that just means there is an option of extra years in the contract if certain conditions are met? https://www.rangers.co.uk/Article/james-tavernier-signs-contract-extension/4Wod60mEhfQLev4M5ZKA09
bennett
Great news Tav has been an excellent player for us, his stats for a right back are amazing. Now get Alfie and Kent done next Rangers.
