betting competition
Aberdeen was drawn at home first but two teams from Georgia got through playing at same stadium so they reversed Aberdeen fixture

Never easy playing against a team that'll be at a higher levels of fitness. Wouldn't surprise me if they get through against Aberdeen. We are apparently 1/8 to qualify, which seems utterly ludicrous given Chikhura have knocked out Beitar Jerusalem and Bursaspor in recent seasons. AFC slight favourites, but no more, would be my take on this one.

If we were at home first and thus may well have had to make the play for both legs (like Qr1) we are more susceptible to troubles

Temperature could be difficult this time of year too. 30C at kickoff apparently (19:45 local time).
ham89
Looking at the draws, the Scottish and Cypriot teams seem to have it easiest for this round of fixtures.Cyprus are currently sitting in 15th, the target spot for the 2nd CL place.Greece look to have been handed the worst draw for their fixtures which might help us out. We hopefully should make gains this year, but likely not even close to enough for another slot.

We got only 3 points in 15/16 and if you look at the teams around us only Cyprus or Israel are the countries that had points around a similar level that season. The 2021 ranking then is where we have a pretty decent shot at making 15th place. Currently the 2021 ranking table, with an incomplete 19/20 and no 20/21 points has Scotland in 16th place sandwiched between Czechia and Serbia.

We are actually top of the countries that have played so far. TavTastic
Looks like it will be 9 & 1/2 after the first leg. Last season we had 10 & 1/2 after QR2 so it's looking like we will beat that.

Norway's Molde could only draw with a Serbian team, Osijek of Croatia lost, as did Apollon Limassol of Cyprus. Assuming Aberdeen and Rangers make it through, their QR3 ties are important games against Croatia and Denmark (14th).
charger29
Closing the gap on Czech Republic too in the 2021 ranking after they only managed 2 draws and a defeat this week. Very close to 15th there.

craigkillie
Which of the teams has exceeded expectations?None of them, but it's unusual to win so many games, even against rubbish teams so I'd say we have more coefficient points than you'd expect.

Scottish teams should be cuffing this sort of dross routinely. We've underperformed if anything. Certainly nothing "incredible" about a couple of wins against teams from Gibraltar, Luxembourg, Estonia, Macedonia and Finland. ssdon
Been fairly good so far this season, disappointing not to get a win for the Dons last night but expect them the win the home game. You would expect 3 wins next week which would set us up nicely. 3rd round will be tough for Aberdeen and Rangers though.

We really should be on 11 wins out of 12 games (with only belgrade expected to beat killie at home) so 9 out of 11 and one draw isn't to far off where we should be, and given our previous form in europe, its probably better than most years
