Derry Alli
Just now, Craig fae the Vale said: Got Cremonese v Sassuolo on the TV just now and the stadium is half empty. Is this the normal for the smaller teams in Serie A? Sassuolo fans have packed their end, but the other sides are very sparsely populated. I don't blame them. The standard is exceptionally poor.

David W
Milan derby was great, the bits of Lazio v Napoli that I saw were end-to-end. Udinese have been absolutely terrific in thumping Roma 4-0. Roma look slow all over the pitch.
Derry Alli
Why is there so many Monday games in Serie A? Must be a nightmare for travelling fans.
David W
There can't be many more visually appealing games than watching players in Sampdoria kits play against players in Milan kits.
David W
This Juventus v Salernitana game has been absolutely phenomenal. Salernitana the better team throughout and should have won having been 2-0 up at the break and largely untroubled in the second half. Juve then get a last minute penalty to equalise which Bonucci misses but nets the rebound. Then Milik scores a last gasp winner from a corner kick, is sent off for celebrating only for the goal to then be ruled out by VAR for a dodgy offside. That then led to a mass brawl which saw at least four people sent off.

Some ending - love it when games turn to absolute chaos when I have zero investment in either team. Defo correct decision to rule out for offside though.

Crazy finish.

Really should have a airplane cockpit-style checklist in the VAR hub they need to go through - final bullet "check wide angle for offside" before the decision is made.

Mr. Brightside
A real shame for Juve to be on the wrong end of a dodgy ref call. Must be a first for them.
Charles Stiles
That's so blatant it's almost as if it was done deliberately. Not of course you'd ever have corruption in Italian football. It's very reassuring though that the bigots would never benefit from a decision like that when VAR comes to Scotland...
Mr. Brightside
More VAR nonsense in the Empoli - Roma game with a player given a straight red for a high foot, when he should've been given a second yellow in the first place. Ref trying to cover his arse.
Crawford Bridge
Tammy Abraham is pretty shite any time I watch him. English players aren't half overrated.

jamamafegan
Tammy Abraham is pretty shite any time I watch him. English players aren't half overrated.I like Tammy. Guys a giant, good player, comes across well and has actually gone to the effort of learning Italian. A much better English role model than the majority of gimps that play in the #barclays
jamamafegan
On another note, this Serie A season is shaping up to be an interesting one. Great to see the top 4 made up of the unlikelier teams, bar Napoli. I’d love to see them win it.
Crawford Bridge
The second half of Milan v. Napoli was an excellent watch. Serie A is the most interesting of the top leagues IMO.

Napoli have no success in their history other than the brief but amazing Maradona era and now this second rise to prominence since the 2010s. They've always enjoyed a large home crowd but so have other Southern teams, Bari and Lecce, so its no guarantee of success. I'd love to see those fans rewarded this season and it'd be a nice boost for Neapolitan pride, a city not without its problems.
