It has to be said that Barcelona's recent transfer policy has done as much good for Madrid as harm it has done for Barca. The Paulinho transfer is apparently mired in corruption relating to interests shared between a utility company the Barcelona president serves on the board for, and Evergrande, who own the Chinese club Paulinho's at.

Give me Kingsley bearing his arse at the **** any day of the week over this shite.

Real were phenomenal last night but what on earth has happened to Barcelona? That crisp, precise passing that they could always fall back on if it ever went tits up is completely gone. They looked like a complete rabble last night. 

Guys like Delofeu, Sergio Roberto and Andre Gomes just aren't good enough for the level they're expected to play at.

Seemingly they are going to bring in Paulinho to cure what ails them... will need a lot more than that. Maybe this is what they call a "transitional season"?
