and what if the tool refuses to step down? What if the tool decideds that seeing as the country is literally full of tools he may as well be top tool?

He'd last a nanosecond.

It doesn't fucking matter if he's a nazi war criminal, it's a mechanism to stop a hard brexit and get a GE. He can get the numbers, Corbyn can't. It's not about who's the best person to lead the country, it's about finding a tool for a specific job that will last a matter of weeks.

Absolutely gone at this lol

What if Corbyn and the Labour front bench won't support Thatcher's Chancellor as PM? Then he doesn't have the numbers.

Edit:

The SNP will not support a Tory either.

Then we slide into a hard brexit. I think the SNP would support anyone who could get shot of Boris, stop a hard brexit and kick off a general election. Parties don't matter for this.

Yeap, and while this attracts a small minority of the converted, the whole package does not and will not attract 'middle range' voters who aren't interested in socialism.

A couple of days ago I noticed, and I can't find the reference right now,.... that a company called Western Power Distribution announced its

annual financial results for the year ending March 2019.   They made £600M net profits on a turnover of around £2 Billion. From those profits they will

pay dividends of £304 Million to the shareholders.  Those profit margins are absolutely astounding.

Western Power Distribution is the outfit that prior to privatisation was part of SWEB, the South Western Electriciy Board.

WPD distributes electricity to about 8 Million customers in the West and South West of England.  They have no competition.

WPD is a subsidiary of an American corporation called PPL ( formerly known as Pennsylvania Power & LIght )

The shareholders who receive the profits made by WPD are the shareholders in PPL.  That is, all the money disappears out

of Britain.

You don't actually have to be particularly into socialism to question a privatised, unregulated  system that enables gross overcharging and

all the profits to disappear abroad.

My basic point is that much of what Corbyn proposes is in fact sensible, and reasonable, and would attract what you called 'middle range' voters.

The Official opposition and the third largest party are on board. Swinson needs to get her and her small party into line.

The independents and a few tories are also needed. And you have Kate Howie and her mates to worry about.

3 years and this is the tinpot idea that Corbyn comes up with. One that's got a snowball's chance in hell of succeeding.

Where the f*ck will Labour go when Johnston survives the VoC  and sees his position strengthened ?

They will be the party of anti-brexit while the Lib Dems will need to explain why they didn't stop No Deal.

They're not the 'anti Brexit' party though. Nowhere in the story of this crackpot idea does Corbyn say that Labour will support remain.

Boris will have to call an election anyway and hope for a Brexit bounce.

The People's Vote strategy must have be designed by Neil Doncaster. There's no majority for a second referendum anyway and it'll involve having an unelected government for at least 9 months. I'm sure that will would work out just fine.
