They also took the Conservative whip at Westminster.

So did the Ulster Unionist Party but that doesn't mean that TFS voted for a Tory government.

Swing and a miss, yet again.

The real issue here of course, is not Brexit, but why Tory party Facebook propaganda is making Jeremy Corbyn look 10 years younger and more muscular.

That looks like they've merged two photos together, mirrored it and put it on a red background to make him look shifty and like a red Goebbels. Cummings is going into full GE psychological warfare mode. This is what you get if you google image search it.

I believe a few of the jezza fans were saying she would when in fact she has gone full gammon again

She wouldn't be siding with any leader looking to reverse Brexit. So not really a Corbyn problem.

Sadiq Khan, no big fan of Corbyn, saying that he’s the only viable option for temporary PM.

Swinson et al beginning to look isolated.

Who ever takes the role of leader of a no deal coalition needs to be someone who cannot gain politically from that position.

The public have to feel that who ever takes the role gives their party no advantage otherwise the members of the parties will feel their party leader has failed them, creating pressure on the leader to reject the deal.

Corbyn made zero effort to engage with the other parties to feel out their needs for this deal, instead he presented himself as the only solution Labour will entertain.

Again.

If the plan to stop no deal Brexit involves someone having to be temporary PM its far far easier to have someone with no skin left in the game to take on the role, other wise the other parties will have huge pressure from their members not to lose out. By placing himself as the only option Corbyn has placed other parties in a much tougher position than needed to stop No Deal.

I can post polling numbers till I am blue in the face, the Corbyn arse lickers will pay no attention.

I can point out he could have had people running feeler discussions with the other parties so his big moment  had buy in from them, he lacked the brains to do that.

Its tactically dumb politics being defended by a comically bullshit "right" to be next in line to be PM.

For many people this will look like opportunistic grasping for power.

Johnson is desperate for someone to stymie his No Deal Brexit proposal, otherwise he will be stuck with the horrendous consequences.

Those who can stop him cannot agree a course of action thereby making No Deal the most likely outcome.

If it weren’t so serious it would be hilarious.

You use terms like “simple minded” and “low IQ” the same way that Trump does.  I think the term is projection.

Getting back to the substantive point; the leader of the official opposition has far more legitimacy than the recently elected leader of the Lib Dems, who has previously enabled a Tory Government, or a guy who has defected from the party he was elected under without going back to his constituents for approval.

He does indeed have more legitimacy. Unfortunately he's got no credibility.

You think Swinson, with her track record, has?  You think she’s the one who should be deciding who should be a caretaker PM?

Corbyn, who opposes, the Tories has more credibility than someone who sat in government with them whilst breaking their manifesto pledges.
