Same argument as we had after we lost the independence vote. In the future it'll all be different.......once the oldies have died off.

Perhaps this also explains why the SNP are  lowering educational standards

The SNP are lowering educational standards to stop younger voters being in favour of remaining in the EU?
Why would they do that?

Back to this proven lie again.
When is the bus going to make a reappearance and get the electorate back on board with Brexit?

Surely only the £350m bus figure was a proven lie. If we are net contributors to the EU, then we will have (in theory) more money to spend on the NHS and schools.

How much we will have and whether the Tories would actually spend it on the NHS and schools or just give tax breaks to their mates is another matter.

You've also got the possibility that Brexit damages the economy and we get less in tax as a result so the NHS and schools suffer more funding cuts. No-one knows.

Anyhoo, I can see food being in short(er) supply for a while if our leaders don't get their finger out and realise there is some actual practicalities to what we are doing, and that the "Bulldog British Spirit" isn't going to magically deliver food onto our supermarket shelves.

It’s fucking started. I was in Tesco yesterday and there were no loose carrots, leeks or white pita bread left.

Brexit britain, people.

The post I commented on was linking Brexit to the Scottish independence referendum. Similar to the old age point it would appear that on both occasions the educated voted to keep things as they were and the uneducated voted to go their own way

Even if the whole £350m were given to the NHS it will be dwarfed by increased supplies and equipment costs.

Not to mention problems already manifestating themselves such as loss of staff, reduced research co-operation etc.

Dwarfed as in it will be less than 1/2? 1/4?  Can you show your working to back up this assertion or can we ascribe the same level of veracity to this claim as to the original £350m.

The theory has been tested and found to be wanting.  Most impact analyses have pointed to a reduced economy bringing in less revenue, not more.  The ones that posited a Brexit bonanza were right-wing looney-tunes.

Every bit of economic analysis has a best case scenario that is bad for government finances. It's not a giant leap that putting trade barriers and transaction costs in place is going to to be harmful to the coffers. We'd also need to spend all the 'savings' on stuff that we don't have to worry about at the moment as it is done by the EU. All those farms aren't going to subsidise themselves, for example.

Of the 350 million we got half of it straight back in rebates.  Gove and Johnson neglected to mention this.  So it's really just a case of will brexit cost the UK more or less than 175 million per week?

Even the Tory government in their most optimistic forecast believe we will see a 2.5% drop in tax revenue.  Permanently.  The financial crash was 2% temporarily.  So there's your answer.

Yeah but we've had enough of experts and their analysis.
