TxRover
You’re all missing the obvious connections…the “Woke” left has been trying to remove gas kitchen appliances and BBQ’s for years now. So is it coincidence that a person immolates themselves outside the Trump trial, such that they will obviously push for a ban of flammable liquids, solids and gases, as well a lighters? They are all part of a shadow conspiracy to hook the planet’s youth on vape liquids secretly laced with mind-control drugs, drugs that can’t be placed in cigarettes! That’s why they don’t want disposable vapes, they’re harder to poison!

America is going to power its economy for 200 years by burning conspiracy theorists.

TxRover
New rumor. If a motion to vacate is moved forward a number of Republicans in the House will immediately resign. This would throw the Speakership to the Democrats. Then the newly Democratic House and Senate could vote, in line with the Supreme Court ruling, to declare Trump an insurrectionist and he’s off the ballot in all States and territories. Now, this is completely unconfirmed, but reported to be circulating on the Hill. It would explain Trump’s sudden coziness with/support of Johnson. That is Mitch McConnell level s**t if it’s what Johnson is doing.
TxRover
Opening day, Trump’s lawyers admitted they paid off Stormy, but argued it wasn’t a crime, saying it was actually democracy. Waiting for Melania’s take on that.

Be interesting to see if he'd rather pay the fines and claim he's got no money to give to Melania or not pay the fines and pay her a shed load. Tough one for his ego. It’s been redone at least three times, the most recent “confirmed” one was in 2020.
Granny Danger
This trial must be tearing Trump up inside. For the first time in his entitled grifting life he is not in control of the environment which he is forced to inhabit. Sitting day after day as people describe facts about his actions and behaviour while he cannot respond in the moment. Hopefully it will all prove to be too much for him.
BFTD
I still don't get the Stormy Daniels thing. I presumed he must have paid her for "escort services", but I don't think that was the case - she fucked him for free, for whatever reason, then got paid off years later. That should be more embarrassing for her. I guess maybe he overestimated the American public's squeamishness about voting for someone who fucks porn stars, which seems kind of quaint now that everyone knows he's a rapist who pervs on underage girls and he's still ahead in the polls.

She was a 26 y-o porn star in 2006. He was the rich, powerful TV star (The Apprentice started in 2004). Where’s the question? It’s a very common dynamic, he had power and she perhaps felt he could get her some connections or such. Starstruck young women is a tale as old as the Bible. You forgot to mention “and talks about his daughter’s body”. You might want to check your polls, BTW. In recent polls, Biden now leads Trump more often than not,
welshbairn
Trump promised he'd get her on The Apprentice, and fix it so she'd get through to the later episodes.

Here’s the thing. If he’d just paid the hush money out of his own pocket and not tried to hide the payment and claim it as an expense for tax purposes this court case would not be happening. Whatever actually transpired it’s his greed and inability to stop gaming the system that has landed him in court.

If he loses this run, the IRS will likely take a crack at him for that if it’s proven in this trial.

Granny Danger
I wonder if everyone and their granny pointing out that Thomas is a corrupt partisan hack who should not be participating in decisions taken by the highest court in the land will cause him to have a meaningful examination of what the role of a SC Justice is or will it simply reaffirm that he is a corrupt partisan hack? Im going for the latter.

GHF-23
We love Irn Bru, don't we folks? The taste, no one can describe it! They can't! Much better than *strangest pronunciation you've ever heard* COCA COLA. I'm Scottish folks, a lot of people don't know that they love me over they say "Donald, we love you and your golf courses". There are some very ungrateful people there, like everywhere. Anyway we love Irn Bru it's made from... *strangest pronunciation you've ever heard* GIRDERS!
