The chance to assert the right that our parliament (Holyrood in case you were wondering) is sovereign, and that we do not accept being taken out of Europe.
We assert our government as the democratically will of the people and hold a referendum, if we want to, or hold a plebiscite election.
The moment has gone now though, we missed the boat.
But we couldn't, if she had gone down that line it would have led to a Catalonia style farce plus soft yes's would be lost.(only people like Jim Sillar types were calling for this)However, she does have to go full baws oot now in May elections returning a pro indy parliament being a mandate for a second referendum. When this is achieved, and it will, she needs to lobby EU leaders to give assurances of an EU fast tract, not to mention people must be more peacefully vocal if democracy is being ignored and a referendum isn't granted.

Priti Patel is 'The Pritster' which betrays the seriousness with which the tories take anything other than corruption. Priti Patel is the daughter of Ugandan Asians who were kicked out of Uganda by Idi Amin.

I agree with much of your post but it has become an urban myth about Priti's parents being thrown out as part of the terrible Idi Amin expulsion of mainly Gujarati Indians . They actually came here in the 1960s before he became President.  They probably read the omens and got out  on their UK passports before the mass expulsion.  She is probably quite typical of the small shopkeeper aspirational migrants who liked the Thatcher Tories. (Javid and Thatcher also had that background) Theresa May at least had the bottle to sack her as you said, but her Brexit credentials keeps her where Johnson can minimise her backbench stirring? I find her deeply unpleasant but she helped win Brexit and that 80 seat majority.

When who decides? When? Where?

This is all just a complete fantasy with no basis in reality whatsoever.

We've been down this road before.

If Stinky isn't a Freeman on the Land, his opinions seem to be very similar, and he's also got the cast-iron certainly about reality that they have.
