You started today with a guy who got 5 goals in the league last year in 23 appearances. That does not suggest he is of competent quality to start a European football game for you. You can rest on last seasons laurels but that doesn't disguise the criminally poor recruitment and tactics that has resulted in you crashing out the competition. It's utterly clutching at straws, but MacLean, Cummins and Kane has been our strike force for the past two seasons and we've been fine. We've been lucky to have MOH and then Swanson taking up the slack. Maybe we assumed Scougall would fill that gap, maybe there was simply nobody available before last weekend.
