I don't disagree with your second sentence.

The rest of the forum seem to be completely stuck on understanding the truth of the first sentence though.

They seem to believe in some socialist utopia, presumably paid for by pixies and money fairies, where nobody ever falls through the cracks despite the evidence all around them.

We can't seriously discuss your second question whilst so many are flummoxed by the basics.

My reading of things is that they're not surprised some (a very small number) fall through the cracks, but that you are justifying the increased number as 'it always happens' and refusing to acknowlege the increased number is likely due to the current government's policies

You could save yourself a bit of time by just not responding to my posts to be perfectly honest.
You can't even post the odd reasonable post. It's just all relentless nonsense.
Don't worry though, others will surely interact with you.
Fide, jupe and a few others for starters.
Not me though.
Unless you start talking like an adult again.
The choice is yours.

Don't be like that Bud.

I used to wonder why Oaksoft got a lot of stick on here.

I quite like Oaksoft and appreciate the fact that he's not a cookie-cutter ScotNat drone like most posters.

His "always biting" tendency does get wearisome, though.

Another glorious meltdown from Oaksoft  :thumsup2

Surprised that the Bride of Frankenstein hasn't had a mention yet, but I suppose when you look at the alternatives...

She was my MP for years, and is about as unpleasant as you'd imagine.

I justified nothing of the sort bud.

As i said, it was only my reading of your posts. I inferred that you felt increasing foodbank use was because more people were being generous than before and that the current supply of foodbank food was was being spread amongst a relatively similar number of needy.

I personally think that both more people need foodbanks than before and more good people are stepping up as a result.

If you want me to read your entire post you probably shouldn't lead with such a childish first sentence containing the word "Ooft". Seriously, what adult talks like that?

I can't be expected to respond to something I didn't read.

People will always fall through the cracks tbf. It would be nice if Government policy wasn't actively forcing people through the cracks in massive numbers.

People will always fall through the cracks no matter what ANY government does.

You can't seriously be disputing that can you?

Not only am I not disputing it, I'm directly saying it myself.

Honestly, what's up with you? You're a complete mess on here just now.

I am telling you, this is about a ton of you people simply unable to cope with an exchange of viewpoints.

I seem to remember engaging you in debate only to have the points I made re the 'high tax' 1970s completely ignored. Is that your idea of an exchange of viewpoints?
