Stephen galvanised our side during his second spell from relegation certainties to champions the following season. Will we see a future generation of McGinn’s play for our team? What a footballing DyNAsty his parents produced for our club. There can’t be many top flight sides in the world who had 3 brothers play for the same club. Stephen though and his contribution to the club, particularly in the second spell means he's one of the most beloved players to have donned the stripes in this century. Some players transcend just ability for their contribution and Stephen is one of those people. Certainly John went on to be a tremendous player but during their times at St Mirren Stephen was the more influential and important player.
