Actually having a better recruitment policy, hiring better managers and beating us on the park

Why would that stop Rangers and Celtic fans being detestable bigot vermin?

It's a squirrel from the board. Ours done the same with reducing Celtics allocation. Why put in the effort to improve the club when simpletons will applaud this like seals.

At least there will be fewer simpletons in the ground after this decision....................

The Scottish FA has asked Hibernian to present its views on unacceptable fan behaviour to a committee that looks at rule changes within football.

SFA should be ashamed of theirselves. This has been going on for decades.

Aye, this revelation must have come as a real surprise to them.

They will try and bury this in a committee as per.

Any news on what they're cutting the Cheeks allocation down to?

Nope.

It depends if we get top 6 or not and hence might be a moot point til next season - Celtic have played at ER twice already, so it is just potentially Rangers in the equation.

Obviously most of us fans want them to get a number between zero and, say, 400 but lets see.......................

Or

Cutting our allocation.

It's an easy distraction for the board.

The Hibs board are just off the back of bringing in significant investment to try and improve all areas of the club so your first point is a bit daft.

If your fans weren’t, by a large majority, completely detestable bigots you’d not be getting your allocation cut. The current owner wanted to do it when your fans tried to ruin the tribute to his father by belting out that you were up to your knees in ****** blood, it appears Sunday was the last straw.

It'll probably be round about the same as you guys. The good thing is that the Derby will be protected from this assuming we both mange to start dealing with the dafties in out own supports that have had too much pre match marching powder. And also Aberdeen's traditionally good support at ER should still be fine.

For Rangers fans it’s more about the sectarianism than actually loving the club though. That was proven in 2012 when you all stood by and watched the club die.

Great to see the club take some sort of action against that scum. Wonder what the response will be.

oh... Whats that? Bringing up the Cup Final? Getting battered? Nobody likes us? We don't care? Lee Wallace is a grass? No bothered? National enquiry? Lizzies in a box? Moral high ground?

Quelle surprise....

In all serious though, I'm glad the club have came out with that statement addressing everything, even our own fans scummy behaviour in recent matches.

That's the worst I've seen from an away support at Easter Road.

Good to see Boyler issue a statment that he is well, horrific to witness live.

Is nobody going to mention the username of the bear quoted here?

Classy.

Your away support of swivel eyed, mouth breathers could maybe just try realise it's the 21st Century and act like human beings. Have you actually anything left if you remove the sectarian crap?

Not sure how Hibs having better players and managers is going to stop Rangers fans singing sectarian slurs tbqfh.

They just don't get it, do they? So thick, the thought of changing their own behaviour doesn't cross their mind.

Saw one on Twitter saying that we will reverse the decision because we need their money, he said: "You obviously need to blue pound if you are signing players like Le Fondre." We signed him when you had a full allocation mate.

I'd like to think the quality of players we sign will actually improve on the back of Bill Foley's investment, so no, we really don't need the "blue pound" which is probably worth less than 1% of our annual turnover.

Well done to Hibs for following St Mirren, Kilmarnock, Hearts and I think Aberdeen. Time for  the rest of Scottish Football to do the same. Note we always have Say no to racism campaigns but never say no to sectarian campaigns. Wish the press would ask the Catholic players at Ibrox, why they would want to play for a team who's fans dislike their religion ?
