They should be but for some reason they aren't.

Talbot v Cumnock is scheduled for 21st October.

The fixture could have been brought forward to this Saturday, but would have meant re-jigging the 21st October fixtures (perfectly possible given the amount of notice clubs would be getting) or by leaving 'Nock and 'Bot fixtureless on another date (pretty pointless). Alternatively Cumnock v Talbot could have been scheduled.

Academic anyway, as it's now too short notice to be putting on a fixture of that import. Should have and could have been sorted weeks ago.

Absolute joke. Talbot are idle this weekend due to Glenafton's involvement in the Senior Scottish and the fixture mans inability to rearrange the fixtures.

Now we are potentially idle again on the 23rd if Girvan win through this weekend (which they should).

Senior cup causing chaos for our fixtures and we are not even in the tournamnet

Ffs you were not it long last season either.

What if sponsorship has already been sorted for 21st October as teams have now had these fixtures for 2 months as it's one of clubs biggest home games of the season

Yes indeed that is another important factor and fixtures should only be brought forward in these circumstances if the clubs agree. But the possibility should have been looked at as it could have been something that clubs would be in favour of.

Dare I say are we not now just seeing the impact of having a long list of fixtures in advance?

Some obvious options to fix things when teams progress in other cup competitions but at a risk of causing further frustrations or financial loss.

The words Rock and Hard place come to mind.

I'm not in favour of full fixture list because of things like this I know things must change and the clubs who voted to keep the status quo in his position need to have a long hard look at themselves. glenafton shud of been down to play girvan this week and the other 10 teams scheduled to play one another and is it going to be no fixtures released after the Scottish weeks it's a shambles

Exactly, it's not so much about how far in advance the fixtures are released, as much as having someone COMPETENT in charge of doing it!!

Stunning. He's given us Kilsyth at home which makes it a run of 4 straight home league matches.

6 from 9 at home for Peasy. Thats ridiculous by any standards.

This is WAY beyond a joke.

Compiling fixtures on bits of paper (yes that really IS what he does) in 2017 is utterly unacceptable.

He's GOT to go!!

Clubs had the chance for change BUT even though the guy had been making an arse of fixtures for last few years clubs voted him back in, so no use complaining now, Maybe if certain clubs hadn't shafted the other candidate we wouldn't be going over the same tiresome complaints again this season.
