The Minertaur
The Derry Girls Bake Off was excellent. Probably the best thing I watched over Christmas.

Agreed, quite good to see the shows chemistry happen between the real people
Flybhoy
I can't stand cooking shows and drivel like Bake Off but watched that on catch up purely for some DG patter and it was surprisingly enjoyable, Soaeirse and Jamie Lee are a pair of 'wids' as well.

Can only read that as “Sore erse”, in an Irish accent, of course.
LongTimeLurker
Speaking of mental Gaeilge spellings whatever happened to Caoimhin on here? He could always be relied upon to take severe umbrage over posts like that.

JamesConnelly
Please can somebody change the heading on this thread? When it reappeared I had my hopes up until I realised it referred to January 2018. It is coming back as they filmed the third series last summer. Ardal O’Hanlon’s rumoured to be a regular cast member this series as there’s been a few photos posted on Twitter of him and the cast filming together outdoors. I enjoyed him in that episode where Mary hexed is mother (allegedly!), but I’m not sure about him being a regular cast member (if true).
The Golden God
Watching again, the final episode of last season is incredible. In tears laughing at Sister Michael's speech, Rain Wean and Colm talking about bingo and it's not even 10 minutes in.

The Golden God
Liam Neeson?! Sister Michael with the ‘didn’t ask’ was the best part.
Mark Connolly
Absolutely tremendous. Uncle Colm in the interrogation

19QOS19
Colm is an absolutely fantastic character and you just know he'll be so relatable to a lot of Norn Irish folk.

Gall09
The Spanish Armada stuff with Uncle Colm has me literally crying with laughter. Thought it was a brilliant episode.
54_and_counting
Thought the humour with the youngsters was a bit forced, but the adults were just a fucking riot,
peasy23
Thought it was a bit slow until it hit the interrogation scene, brilliant after that.Superb cameo from Liam Neeson, uncle Colm is just a fantastic character.
