Salvo Montalbano
End of an era at Fir Park as the classic entrance gets pulled down as construction begins on the Davie Cooper Stand. Is the one that used to say "The Motherwell Football and Athletic Club" or something? I take it the Athletics bit is of a byegone age and they haven't been involved in that for some time? Didn't Celtic have the same kind of name for a while?

Dundee Hibernian
Recalling pavilions/clubhouses being mentioned a few pages back, here are those which used to be at Broomfield, match v Sparta Prague, Ibrox and Celtic Park. EDit: Celtic Park is the middle photo, Ibrox bottom. Edited March 7, 2021 by Dundee Hibernian
Eednud
I was at the game but can’t remember too much about it other than the score and Gilzean getting 7 of them and it being quite misty in the first half. Went easy on them the following season only winning 6-2. Looking at the tables Partick finished 3rd, Clyde and Raith relegated, St Johnstone and East Stirling promoted. ETA: No subs back then. Eednud
Dead Pool link to an Ian StJohn tribute in The Guardian featured this pic as a 1960 Scotland team group. It has to be an Under 23’s game against Belgium in Ghent (1=1) . Jim Cruickshank is the goalie, Billy McNeill, 2nd from right with Jimmy Gabriel who had just moved from Dundee to Everton. Front row Dundee’s Andy Penman far left and Alan Cousin to the right of Ian StJohn in the middle. Alan Cousin scored Scotland’s goal. Anyone able to put names to the others? Match details here https://fitbastats.com/scotlandu23/game.php?gameid=10
