That's up there with "barred from the Broadsword".  Chapeau!

Ha, not me, the better half. She was, let's just say, a bit of a tear away in her youth. Typical Woodsider. She was the 3rd generation to go to Powis/St Macher.

It was Powis Academy(Powis being the area) before it merged with Hilton i think it was in the late 80's ? St. Machar Drive is the name of the road running infront of it which you'd veer off halfway down into the chanonry (which you'd know well being a student in ABZ) to get to St Machar's Cathedral. The chanonry was our home prior to Pittodrie.

Powis was the arch enemy of Linksfield(which later also merged with them) and St Machar drive was the front line so to speak. If you were from Tillydrone you went to Linksfield unless you were a c**t.

Ryan Jack was from Tillydrone, Ryan Jack went to St. Machar.

I also have nothing tinpot about the SPFL to add to this previously amusing thread.

Wait, do Rangers know what school a guy called Ryan went to????

Did they miss 2 clues there?

My Father went to Powis and I taught at St Machar, last Scottish school I taught at before coming here.
Was never barred from the Broadsword but did get chucked out a couple of time (but wee students living in Sandilands so pretty much ducks)

Really can't imagine that being where a ground was once, as always thought that neck of the woods (literally) had buildings there for 200+ years

I lived in Sandilands for a couple of months. Went back to the flat and found a sofa had been acquired. There's been an eviction up the road and my flatmates had nicked it
