Are highlights being held back as they might damage your appeal?

I hope so... 8)

I thought the Ref was absolutely horrific

Its worth noting it was the same ref who awarded the phantom penalty for handball against Adams (he headed it) when we played Alloa in September. To be fair to him he did apologise for his error then.

Is there any footage for the Shankland red yet or are AU Media still nursing hangovers?
Would like to see it again, as I was on the north terrace pretty much in line as well but would never have said it was a red.

Probably a yellow but no chance a red. Shanks looked absolutely gutted when going off, so I don't think there was real malice there.

Had a bad feeling Stranraer would come away with the three points through a freekick or penalty as it was that sort of game yesterday. As it wore on the physicality really started to dial up, so no surprise he pointed to the spot without hesitating.

On Hart, I'm lost as to what people thought he could have done differently yesterday. Don't think he was at fault for the 1st, the highlights will clear that up. Dealt with everything he had to, even when he spilled once he collected the ball quickly. At the penalty he even went the right way which is the most you can ask for in those situations.  Kicking was a bit so-so yesterday but there was a strong breeze blowing straight across the park which he dealt with better than Currie in the other goals.

Seems he's taken on the a similar role to Chris Aitken when he was with us, very rarely praised always criticised. For the record I'm not trying to suggest either player is a superstar, they just both became magnets for negativity.

The arsehole in question was talking shite as do the majority of the folk sitting in the stand.

Just because Mark Pettigrew is our spokesmen doesn’t mean he is there to defend us.

Deserved to get chucked out and hopefully he isn’t the last.

Can I ask what made this deserved? Not sure talking shite warrants being thrown out a football ground particularly when we needs all the paying customers we can get

Have to say I didn't see this coming.  It gives us a bit of hope but with Raith it's the hope that kills you. I still think Ayr have probably done enough with only 2 games to go but next weekend will be very interesting....

Alloa is a very very hard place to go for us. I think with us having FOUR defenders out and having only 3 fit defenders (2xCB and a young second/third choice RB) will make it a hell of a lot tougher. Because of yesterday we now need a draw there at least, and given we keep on giving away the first goal, it’s critical we don’t do so next Sunday. Given our shattered defence, we need to go top heavy and simply try to score more goals than them. Moffat, Moore, McDaid, Forrest, Crawford. All of them.

Stranraer have won 4 in a row but I think Raith will beat them as they have a great record there (4 wins from the last 5 visits I think it is). Plus the fact Stranraer have nothing to play for and Raith are in red hot form.

Gonnae be so tense, my nerves are shattered. People are split on if us playing Sunday to see what Raith do is a positive or negative but I’d rather know what we need.

It wasn’t so much him talking shite but the language he was using.

Doesn’t matter if he’s a paying fan or not it doesn’t give him the right to start having arguments with the players sat right in front of him and then one of the directors.

Fair enough. If he’s deliberately approached the players and directors with abusive language then he deserved it.  If they have bit back because they didn’t like some general criticism being aired then poor treatment of a paying punter.

IIRC he was having a go at McCall and the team and one of the players (might’ve been Geggan) turned round and asked him what his problem was. The verbals started from there and Mark Pettigrew asked him to leave. He refused and was then escorted out.

Absolutely nailed on red card. Looks at him then hits him with the elbow.

His elbow hits him but I genuinely don’t know what else he’s supposed to do. Whenever players jump to challenge for the ball that happens.

Nope. Changes the direction of his run and deliberately smashes him the the elbow. Given he’s got previous for trying to ‘innocently’ hurt an opposition player he’s not got a leg to stand on. 100% red card. He was in a good position to win the ball, but he’s so focused on getting the boy that he ends up jumping way past the flight of it. Right in front of the referee too, what a tool.

Should have been sent of against the Rovers for the stamp on Matthews. Clearly a man who can’t control himself. Maybe why he’s playing at this level. Has clearly got the ability but...........

Are you lot still banging on about that?

Gtf that is never a red, no violent conduct in that whatsoever, if that doesn't get recinded to a yellow then everytime a striker jumps up with a defender for a ball and makes contact with the defenders head then they should be off.

Look at Adams goal for example, got his elbow around the defenders head because that's what you naturally have to do when you jump.

But since competancy and the SFA don't go it probably won't be recinded.

Glad to see you’re not still bitter about that.
