Premier League 2018-19

Recommended Posts

The games coming thick and fast was back down for Liverpool 3 Southampton 0 today. Southampton were decent and caused a bit of a threat first half but still came off 3 down at half time and Liverpool were well on the way to a 7th straight win. Second half was a bit of a non event but should have finished 4/5-0.

Bit of a scare with Van Djik going off but just bruised ribs by the sounds of it. He wouldn’t have played on Wednesday anyway but hopefully he’s fit for Chelsea away next Saturday.

Good day out we caught the u18s at Blackburn on the way down. They won as well 4-3. Roll on Wednesday :D

Not watching the game, but it sounds like every single Arsenal home game to a team outside the top six: struggle for the first half (sometimes extending to hour), the fans get antsy, then they go onto win comfortably.

Can’t help but feel every Arsenal home game just seems like a complete bore because of the pish atmosphere and stadium.

Place is like a morgue save for some polite clapping every now then from the hipsters.

Sorry, slow response. Seems to have screwed the nut at Fulham. Just wrong club wrong time for him at Newcastle?

He maybe needed the step-down  to improve?

Or it might be rubbish playing for Benitez as a forward, very negative manager with stifling tactics.

Difficult to fathom how the assistant has missed that offside from his position.

It looked miles offside in real time. Replay proves it. Linesman was staring right across the line too. Awful decision.

Exactly why VAR should be an integral part of top level football.
