The formation and tactics were shit and trying to shoehorn two LBs into the same team is crazy. Wont slaughter the guy for an og in the same way I won’t criticise Souttar getting sent off when he shouldn’t have been. Souttar deserved to be sent off. The contact may be minimal but he still flailed a hand at the face of an opponent as he ran past him into the box, because he was in the wrong position and having the wrong way.Tierney was at fault for the og. Sure we've had worse individual line-ups for pointless friendlies etc, but as an actual pool of players to choose from it is just awful. Lacking in any quality and so unbalanced. Our only top class player doesn't even play in his own position. No right-backs who are anywhere near the level required, no decent centre backs, pointless midfielders, and no strikers who are anywhere near the standard required. Even 10 years ago when we still weren't qualifying most of these guys wouldn't even be near the squad. It shows how bad we are now that people get excited about guys like McGinn.
