Mackie The Staggie
Need to see that again, initially thought Perez put the squeeze on Sainz, but then another shot looks as if Sainz moved. I think it'll go down as a racing incident. Edited September 15 by Mackie The Staggie
Todd_is_God
All things considered that's an excellent result for Norris

V.Aye.R
Sainz made an erse of turn 2, which is what led to it really. 50/50 between them fault wise on the second look.
Gianfranco
Piastri and Charles aren’t that far behind Norris. Could be a 4 way fight for the championship if the Red Bull continues to be shite.

Would have lost the same number of points to Norris but gained a few on Piastri and LeClerc.
The Golden God
Bearman’s bizarre Italian English hybrid accent always amuses me, also keep Colapinto around he seems sound enough and has had a better season than half the grid and he’s done 2 races.

Normally it would be the latter - was it because there was only a few laps left? 4 hours ago, The Golden God said: Bearman’s bizarre Italian English hybrid accent always amuses me, also keep Colapinto around he seems sound enough and has had a better season than half the grid and he’s done 2 races. Colapinto has also managed more in two races than Sargeant managed in 18 months - admittedly not difficult! Shame we need to wait until next season for Bearman and Colapinto will probably be back in F2 or off to Super Formula.

As it was on the penultimate lap the only difference would be Bernd coming out, picking up the leader, probably driving slower around the circuit than VSC speed, then leading them across the line. I think for the same reason as there wasn’t a red flag in Australia when Russell crashed, the double yellows/VSC has the same instant affect on what the drivers do as the red flag does but without all the faff of waiting about and restarting the race
Sherrif John Bunnell
Maybe the TV graphic was just a bit slow, but it seemed to take a very long time for the yellows to come out after the collision. The stoppage also seemed to take forever in the F2 race when it was instantly obvious that a red flag was needed.

Its a long lap in Baku is the only reason I can think off IE giving the marshals a bit of time to see if it can be cleared before stopping the race ..but yeah the f2 incident should have been red flagged immediately
Mackie The Staggie
Racing incident, which seems fair tbh. Just one of those things that happens, espicially when it's in the last few laps of the race and drivers tend to push the limit more than they would if it was the first 15/20 laps.

Doesn't make any difference in the grand scheme of things.
CityDave94
Lawson to replace Ricciardo for Singapore. It could be that the rumour that Lawson has to take part in 5 races this season as part of his contract with RB is correct. Could finally be the end for Ricciardo. I’ve not seen that, just that he’s going to be with mini red bull next year.
