Tommy Docherty liked more than just the Arms of Mary, cost him his job though. An even better Sutherland Brothers song, so relevant to this audience:

Aim Here
The news is all over someone called Brad Gobright, who was allegedly famous for making a habit of climbing mountains very quickly without any safety gear. I don't think further elaboration is needed.

Miguel Sanchez
Week 48 update One death this week and it's another long-term Dead Pool favourite - Australian broadcaster, Clive James: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-13437293 Four decades and more in broadcasting and writing means I could give you a book of what other people have said about him since he died. I could also share what I've learned about him since I started reading this morning, but I don't think I'd be much good at summing up such a rich, varied and long career. So, since it's the Dead Pool, here's a comment on his health: Quote A lifetime of smoking and drinking culminated in a diagnosis of emphysema and kidney failure in 2010, and a year later he announced he had leukaemia. In a 2012 interview, he told BBC radio he was "near the end", saying: "I don't want to cast a gloom, an air of doom, over the programme but I'm a man who is approaching his terminus." Three years later, in an interview with the Guardian, he spoke of his "embarrassment" at still being alive, saying a new drug had kept the end at bay. This February, he had a long and ultimately unsuccessful operation to remove a cancer on his cheek, which left him frail and almost blind. No wonder he was so popular in this game. What I will say, reading about people like James and Gay Byrne a few weeks ago, I feel as if I've missed out on something by being alive in an era with a relative lack of respected, intelligent media figures. With social media, an endless array of satellite and cable channels, individuals aren't as prominent as they were in the last century. While you can argue it's a good thing that people have access to so much information because they're able to see and consider different perspectives on a single issue, anyone reading this right now knows this isn't always a positive. To have intelligent, measured people who respected their craft and audience enough as regular figures in the public consciousness was only a good thing, as we see from the tributes paid in their death. James was 80 when he died, meaning he was worth 45 Base Points. He was picked by 16 people - @alta-pete, @Aim Here, @Arabdownunder, @Ben Twilly, @Bishop Briggs, @DBA, @Fuctifano, @Melanius Mullarkey, @microdave, @nessies long lost ghost, @peasy23, @psv_killie, @qos_75, @The Naitch, @weirdcal and @Willie adie.
