J_Stewart
The decline in Suarez in the last 18 months or so has been sizeable. For a good 5 years or so he was comfortably the best “number 9” on the planet, and now he struggles to make 3 yard lay-offs and doesn’t have the legs to move the least mobile of centre halves about.Leading him to the glue factory and finding a suitable replacement should really be their number one priority.
craigkillie
Yep, definitely no disgrace in one of The Greatest League in the World's representatives getting rinsed like a bunch of Cypriot fishermen by Bayern Munich. To be fair, it is perhaps infinitessimally less of a disgrace than one of their other representatives suffering a similarly pathetic loss to the third best team in Germany.
Guest DAVIDB69
Despite being 3 up from the first league , playing the game like it really does matter. No tiredness mainly an English thing, resting players etc
Mr. Brightside
Suarez looks like a competition winner out there

Reminds me a bit of Torres towards the end. Obviously a significantly less handsome version.

Derry Alli
Michael Owen had around a 20 year career, retired about 6 years ago, has put on half of his playing body weight in retirement and yet still he only looks about 26.
NotThePars
Can't vibe with Owens doing punditry, really just want whoever's hosting to put the football analysis to one side and drill down into his takes on film.
JMDP
Two of the Atletico Madrid camp have tested positive for coronavirus. Seems to be staff members, not players. ETA: AS and Marca reporting it is 2 first team players. All players and staff will be tested again Monday. Seems that UEFA are saying game will be played and Atleti will have to pick from those who test negative on Monday. Club were supposed to travel Sunday, now won't travel until Wed/Thurs by looks of it. Edited August 10, 2020 by JMDP -
JMDP
Turns out it was Correa and Vrsajlko that tested positive. They are both at home whilst the rest of the squad have travelled. Not ideal preparation but more important that both are ok. -
NotThePars
That’ll be because I’ve stuck a tenner on them to win the CL. I am cúrsed.
Theroadlesstravelled
If I was ever to pick a foreign team it would be Atletico. Their quest to split the cheeks in a noble task. Simeone will be a huge loss if he goes to Inter.

Jambomo
good game so far. I hope Atalanta can win, might sacrifice a couple of quid on PSG since nearly all of my bets lose- help them along a little.
