accies1874
Who cares if Norwich fans don't rate him. As long as he plays like he did in September for us, then all is well.As long as he plays like he has for Norwich then all is well [emoji2369]He's had one game where I didn't think he was good (Leicester) and has been fine at worst in every other one. Against Liverpool on the opening day he had some big faults defensively but was good on the ball.

He can get away with being a centre back in a three but in a two? maybe as a one off against Israel. Liam Cooper is a better centre back than Kieran Tierney. Your idea doesn't work mate. With the midfield options we now have, i think we're beyond forming the whole team to play to one of the left backs strenghths

Maybe in certain games or in the case of injury, but clearly 3-4-3 is the way we are going and in my view it's the best choice overall.

I think that's precisely why Chelsea sent him there. Toughen him up by playing for a team that's going to lose (far) more often than not.
Bairnardo
Genuinely unsure if the Norwich fans were vooing him or not but in terms of on the ball he was the best of their team lastnight and middle to end of the first half, and early on in the second half created most if not all of the chances/good moves they had. I was reasonably impressed with him last night. I can however understand that a Norwich fan may review their side as a whole differently from us watcbing and giving zero fucks about anything other than the performance of our potential star player for the next 15-20 years

Lex
Dropped to the bench today and an unused sub as Norwich lose for the twentieth time in a row. Not really working out for him there at all disappointingly, wonder if Chelsea will recall him. -
eez-eh
The poor Norwich fans will need to scapegoat another one of the Scottish players for their club being shite.

Lex
He went there to start games. If he’s going to be sat on the bench for 90 minutes he’d be better off doing that at Chelsea. Would be surprised if he isn’t recalled in January. -
craigkillie
Having now seen the difference in quality between the two, it wouldn’t be something he would even contemplate though. We also have absolutely no idea what Steve Clarke would have done with his squad or team selection if McLean was available, it's pure conjecture.

He’s started 4 out of 6 leagues games and played in both their cup games. But why let facts get in the way of a knee-jerk reaction?

And if he was playing in a better team im sure we would have seen better performances. Not that his performances have even been bad. Hes Billy Bloody Gilmour, he will be fine.

velo army
I'm delighted that he didn't play tbf. Id far rather he was fit for Saturday. Genuinely can't wait to see him (hopefully) fully arrive on the international scene with an unplayable matchwinning performance.
