We'd then be in a stalemate situation whereby we legally can't leave without a deal but still can't get MP's support for the only other option that is the backstop deal. In this case, would revoking Article 50 be the only legal option forward able to get support, finally putting an end to this clusterfuck? Even if we can't legally leave without a deal from our side, can the eu not still kick us out?

I'd imagine that would involve throwing the ROI under the bus as they referred to it, which they pledged not to do. The EU will have us by the balls on this one as of this coming week in what is probably a tactically shrewd move by the remainers.

The law doesn’t “ban” no deal. All it says it that the PM has to ask for an extension, and accept one if offered.
NotThePars
I see Boris and the Tories are getting roasted by KFC Got to respect Tory memes making Corbyn look more of a badass than the mild mannered man he is. Even this makes him look like he’s conducted a heist.

Donathan
Boris just lost another cabinet ally. Amber Rudd has resigned as work and pensions secretary and quit the Tory whip, she will sit as an independent. Independents now have 36 MPs, which may mean Ian Blackford losing his weekly PMQs spot. Brilliant!! Suspect there will be few more resignations on Monday. An absolute joy to see the Tory Party in self-destruct, meltdown mode.

Only if the Independents are accepted as a “group”. Don’t see that happening. People like Rudd and Joe Johnson are the worst kind of opportunists. Opposed to a Hard Brexit until a government job is on offer then sign up to Johnson’s regime. First sign of a shitshow then they resign and try to paint themselves as principled. Fucking hypocrites. Mind you the embarrassment for Johnson is delicious. ETA the timing is deliberate and brilliant. Yeah I'd imagine Blackford will keep his question on second thoughts. Even if all the ex-Tories form a group and appoint a spokesperson, I don't see them getting some of the other independents onside.
ICTJohnboy
If he doesn't kick out Dominic Cummings and reinstate all these members he expelled, it really could be curtains for the Conservative and Unionist Party. Not that I'm complaining.
zidane's child
Great to see! Hopefully more to come. Rudd’s seat has been targeted as a swing seat and I’m pretty sure she only won in 2017 by a 100 votes or so. She either won’t stand again in Hastings and Rye or she’ll give it a bash as an Indy.

Donathan
She has said she will run as an independent but not in Hastings & Rye. Still pencil it in as a Labour gain though, she won it by less than 400 votes last time despite being a cabinet minister with a strong personal vote.
Benjamin_Nevis
There have been many glorious Tory meltdowns over the years. Stabbing the c**t Thatcher in the back was excellent, right through their shambolic years led by idiots like Hague and IDS and latterly the hilariously shit Theresa May. There's something especially delicious about Johnson's catastrophic premiership though. His whole life, education, upbringing etc has been focused on him eventually realising his ambition of becoming PM, only for it all to fall apart in humiliating fashion in a matter of weeks, with plenty more misery to come. Watching these vermin devour each other is nothing short of magnificent. Absolute popcorn stuff. Long may it continue

Billy Jean King
This cretin is going to either go down in history as the shortest reign or end up in court. This is delicious, compelling viewing but utterly predictable. An open goal surely but I have a hunch Corbin will do an Iwelumo so to speak.
MONKMAN
He’s been in the job a week and already got the title of the worst prime minister in history. It’s fucking glorious.
