When I was a lad you could get a pie, a pint and a woman for 50p. I will admit, the pies weren't exactly the best I ever tasted.

BFTD
Oh, the EU will absolutely be shitting themselves over that threat, and will obviously leave France swinging in the wind. People are surely going to look back on this kind of reporting in a hundred years' time and wonder what we were all smoking.

Sherrif John Bunnell
It's almost is if the Tories are shitting themselves about being investigated for all the dodgy contracts they awarded to their mates during the pandemic. This Leadsom amendment is the kind of shameless corruption that even the likes of Orban or Erdogan would think twice about committing so publicly.

It is interesting to note that Randox, which has done awfully well out of the pandemic, is one of the two businesses Patterson was lobbying for but this report doesn't even touch on its work during covid. One can only hope John Whittingdale, who scuppered Levenson in a deal to keep his whore/mistress out of the press and who benefits so generously from the Russian oligarch Dymtro Firtash will get to the bottom of this. Guest Bob Mahelp
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2021/11/02/boris-johnson-seeks-replace-commons-standards-watchdog-amid/ The campaign to make the Tories unaccountable is in full swing. Every single mechanism that is seen to criticise them....whether it's the parliamentary standards committee, the supreme court, or the BBC....is regularly accused of 'bias' by the Tories and their media lapdogs. They are deliberately setting out to create the narrative that the Tories are being punished harshly by Remainers, woke warriors or rabid left-wingers, and to protect themselves from this 'bias' they have no choice but to disband or neuter anyone who holds them to account. It's an on-going purge, which they're doing in full view of the British public.

Debate currently taking place in the House just now on how to change the rules on cash for lobbying, now that a tory member, allegedly a mate of Boris, has been found guilty. Debate being chaired by that champion of fair play, Jacob Rees-Mogg. What a fucking farce.

Paterson was found guilty and, in my opinion, the penalty should stand. However, the process was completely unfair with the member not being allowed to provide evidence or witnesses. If they want to sort out the process, fair enough, but the verdict under the present system should stand.
